Steves just rang to say we are going to Oxford castle and prison for halloween! I cant wait as I used to work as a host/historian on ghost nights for 6 years before having my lil boy. I used to travel all over UK doing these events. This will be my first ghost hunt in over 2 years, and it will be great as its for fun and not work.
I've seen lots of stuff and had lot sof experiences most I can logically explain but some I cant. I even had a few things happen as a child in the pub I grew up in, but Im still on the fence as to whether I believe in ghosts/spirits.
Do you believe? Had any experiences? And will you be doing anything for halloween? xx
Edit Oh also wondered if anyone else has ever been or regularly goes on ghost nights/hunts? xx

i have been on a ghost hunt.. at ruthin goal in wales.. it was really great. i think most of the time u scare yourself but we heard a lot of things.. never saw nothing though :(

I would love to do something like that. Not sure if i believe but i know that i would like it to be true. my mum and sisters went to see a physic last night and some of the stuff you think "oh yeah that could be anything" but she said to my sister, "your grandad is here and hes got a fork, he keeps showing me a fork." and my sis was like dont know what your on bout lol and then she turned to my mum and went "no, the message is for you, its a fork and your all sitting around a big open fire". my mum said they always used to toast bread on a fork infront of the fire when they were young and my grandad let her go 1st all the time lol. Also she said my nan said there was a wedding postponed (me and dan postponed our wedding in may due to money and my nan passing away) and to "stop postponing it, you dont need money, i never had any money when i got married". weird. then my other sis went in and the physic and she said to her "hang on a minute ive got someone elses message 1st" so went out and said to my mum come back in a minute, so she went in and she said when you go to the wedding dont wear pink, someone will want you to wear pink (me lol, i wanted my mum in pink) and that she HAS to wear lilac cos its her dads fave colour, i hate purple lol, might have to work on that 1.

im stil unsure on this, i live in york and there are loads of haunted places here, there is a pub called the golden fleece, its been on most haunted and it was really interestig to watch, i know a guy who works there and he has seen and heard loads of stuff there, they often do all night most haunted type stuff there, i would love to go to one but i think il be scared. i also know loads of people who have seen things and had experiences before, i just dont know what to think until it happens to me! x
Iv been on a few, I love them and iv had loads happen and even seen a couple so I do believe and I believe thats what happens when you die. I come from a weird family and weird beliefs lol so im used to things, my mums house is haunted and my mum speaks to them lol, she physic like a medium so I grew up with the supernatural really lol. Iv seen my granddad (step dads, dad) who died long before I was born, a women in a nursing home for elderly (used to work there with my mum) and she stood at the bottom of the stairs were a bus stop used to be and never moved, I sore her a couple times, our dog that died in 2004 (he runs up and down the garden) and iv seen a little girl who seems to be trapped at my mums house, we are still trying to find out who she is :-) xx

My mum doesnt do it as a career as she sees it as a gift and doesnt think its right to earn money from it, if she does give someone a reading she does it for free but generally she only gives readings if they have a reason for one and not just because if you no what I mean xx

I belive and went to my first clairevoyant last year ang omg the things she said...she didnt no i had a kid and before i sat down told me i had post natal depression which i did i was amazed.
and for the last 2 months up to the wedding..my ipod was on hold which means u can touch it but it wont go on until u unlock it...and it kept turning itself on t the same song Will Young - Changes every time...and i believe it was my dad!
and ive seen in the corner of my eye a shadow passing ...ive had a feather come out of no where..no where with birds etc
I guess it helps me and comforts me knowing my dad's around me x

Funny you mention the feather thing. Up to now each year we find a white feather in our house even when its just me there, and its always within a day or two of my dads birthday. I remember hearing a same sort of thing about feathers on tv about Gloria Hunniford after losing her daughter Karen Keating. Strange. xx

I love anything to do with this but still not sure if I truly believe or not. Guess it's one of those things 'you have to see it to believe it'. Think its all very interesting tho. H2b is meant to be 'intune' with the spirit world according to his mum (a medium she went to a while back told her so, twice in fact). It's strange as he really isn't interested in it whatsoever, and he says he doesn't believe but there are times when I think he does. For example, he often hears strange noises in our house. Noises he can't explain, or won't explain as he doesn't want to freak me out. The thing is I am always there with him when he hears these noises and yet I can't hear them?? lol. Maybe he is going mad or I'm going deaf:$

The oxford castle is great dee, i went in to the castle when it was still the old oxford prison (sons father an ex now was a builder doing it up) it was proper freaky, he took us to a place where they done the hangings back before it was abolished and i have to admit you could feel the air get colder as you walked towards it!! Hope you have a great time though.
On the halloween note i shall be doing the same as most nights, chilling out watching films with the kids and if its a weekend will be off to work. If im not working i'll probably take the kids trick or treating :) xox

In all the time doing ghost nights it will be my first at Oxford Castle. Thanx Rainykins, Im really looking forwardd to it.
I went to a psychic when I was 19, I was very sceptic and asked to record it. So glad I did,I still have a tape now. She was spot on with basically everything and theres even things on the tape that have come true in the past few yeasr. The psychic told me I would have 2 boys, she knew id had a miscarriage. She said id meet and fall in love with a "peace keeper" which i never understood until I met Steve hes a magistrate/justice of the peace. Too many things to mention here have come true. xx

I have never been to anything like that because well... I'm a wimp! I definately belive in ghosts, about a year after my grandad died he hame to me duing the night and tucked me into bed :)
