Well I waited in today to have my bridal hair trial. My appointment was at 9.30. It got to 9.50 and I rang the mobile hairdresser to see where she was, the phone just rang. At 10.15 I get a text from her to say she had caught a sickness bug and she will call me tomorrow. Vilni is like you know yourselves you need someone you can relay on your wedding day. I thought get a mobile hairdresser and then I don't have to take my 4 bm's out from the house on the morning of the wedding, so I'm calling a salon tomorrow in our local village to see if they come out of the morning.
Thing is also I'm so organised and punchtal I hate it when others aren't.
    Rant over.:-D

I would be the same.... fair enough she is ill but she should have told you and you shouldnt have had to chase her. It shows she isnt organised and not really bothered either. I would be looking for another hair dresser promptly xx

Well I would of organised and sorted something out today, but all the salons we have 4 and its only a small village. Lol. But boozyaw the one that everyone I spoke to recommends is closed on a Monday.
Like you said fair enough she said she was ill but you let people know before the appointment if your not turning up. Just makes me think she couldn't be bothered.
Will try the salon tomorrow. Fingers crossed on one is booked in on my day.

Even if she was poorly, if your appointment was at 9.30. then she should have called BEFORE that, not wait until you rang her....
    very unprofessional.

I know what you mean about hating people that are late.
I work now and then as a mobile therapist and I always try and arrive about 10 minutes, cos by the time u get out of car, unpack knock on door get in, have a chat set up etc its normally right on time. If I am running late I phone or text to say. There is only 1 time i was 30 minutes late as I couldn't find the house but in that time I phoned 3 times.

I hope you get it all sorted soon,
    xxx

Well i kind of sorted this out... I went to the salon that has really good recommendation. And i have my trail now on thursday at 9.30 (in the salon) its costing £25 for the trail and £50 for myself on the day. (£25 for my bridesmaids on the day) BUT..... on the morning of our wedding i have to go into the salon otherwise its going to cost my £100 on the day for myself and £50 each for the bm on the day so that £300 for wedding hair instead of £150.00 if i o into the salon.
So i get married at 2 want to leave my house at 1.30. It will take about half an hour ish to get me in my dress.
So what im asking is what time should i have my hair done.? And my bm's
Also i have someone coming out to do my make up on the day and dont know what time to tell her to come.
But i don't want to relay on a mobile hair dresser again just in case she doesn't turn up.

depending on what your having done and how long it will take I would have your hair trial when I first got married my hair trial took hrs. they got my hair so wet it took ages to dry under the head drier lol learnt from that mistake then it took about 30-45min I had a tiara fitted and hair bling lol, so when your done ask them how long it will take add 15mins to the time.
but Im thinking to be safe 11.30, if your having make up they do it after your hair well they did with me, so how long does she take?
just work backwards giving extra time just in case it takes longer for some reason.

well i will go for my trial with dry hair i have been told to wash it the day before and not put any products on it. And i just want it curled and put up at the sides. Grrrrr starting to think ill do it myself as i have curly/wavy hair anyway.

Think i will wait and see what happens on thursday.
