So i was thinking about how to have my hair on our wedding day and im struggling! Im not very creative and wear my hair the same everyday. I have posted a pic below of how my hair is:

    Me (the youngest lol)
    Me (the youngest lol)

I dont like having my hair off my face *ie the fringe* so a quiff is out of the question, and curlying it would just make me look like a poodle with it being short, wouldnt it?.

It also goes up into an inverted bob at the back so i cudnt really curl the back.

Does anyone have any suggestions? x

It looks like it might be just about long enough (though I'm not sure about the back) to do something with braids.

You could also try a curly bob look - it can be very pretty in a vintage-y way.

My best friend is a hair dresser and my hair was as short as yours and she curls it for me but uses small tongs and does tight curls so they look coiled and bouncy and looks good. It takes ages and hard work but would look nice on your wedding day. Or for my brothers wedding day i grew mine slightly and hair dresser put some loose curls in it so looked fuller and some back combing underneath...

why dont you ask your hairdresser to have a pull around with your hair and give you some options? Or maybe a really nice blow dry so plenty of volume and rounded at the ends rounds your face? xx

Yeah loose curls would work, i dont like my hair off my face so tying it at back i wudnt feel comfortable.

I shud really go and see what they can do. I know its like 21 months away but ive had the same hairstyle for years and it hardly grows so i know me hair wont be much different!

You have to feel comfartable with your hair so dont have it up or off your face as not you....

Could have loose curls or maybe lots of volume instead so looks fuller. Your hair dresser should help honey xx

I love this for short hair but my BM's friend is a hairdresser and assures me this is long hair pinned up. I'm not so sure myself but it is lovely. And I think possible for short hair, surely?

I think the easiest thing to do would be not to style your hair any different than usual and just go for a really statement head piece instead.

how about volumising the back at the top, maybe even clipping the back up at the top and pushing it forward? you could have a tiara in front of it and a veil either in front of it or at the back underneath it? xx

My hair was really short in jan (pixie) the short layers are about ear length and the long about 1 1/2inch above shoulders.

If mine is long enough am having a french twist, if not am having a side fringe and parting then behind my tiara bouffant (pic in my album of my outfit). How about that? Your hair wont be off your face but still different to usual.

I am growing my hair out and by the time i get it cut for the wedding it will be quite similar to yours except that i have a side parting and long sweeping side fringe. For the wedding i will be wearing both my veil and tiara quite far forward behind which i will be creating a bit more height and volume.I think your hair looks really lovely, healthy and shiny by the way xxx
