I'd like to have all my bridesmaids and my mother's hair & makeup professionally made for the day. However, to struck to budget I have two options, 1) my hair & makeup + the wedding party's hair only by a more expensive but far better stylist - bridal party to apply own makeup 2) my hair & makeup by the better stylist, and hair & makeup for the rest of the bridal party by a good but much cheaper stylist (from a different company).
Is it 'rude' to ask 2 stylist's from different companies to come in and work on the bridal party? I'm really set on having the amazing stylist create my look. What is everyone else doing?

im having one makeup artist for me my mom and 2 adult bridesmaids. she also does hair too but im asking family friend to come and do mine and my moms hair. and MOH wants her hairdresser so ill have her for 2 adult bridesmaids and flower girls as she is cheaper.
you could always ask members of your bridal party what they would prefer x

If I was bridesmaid, I'd rather have the cheaper stylist do my hair and make up than do my own make up x

I had one person do my make-up & hair and just make-up for my mum and three adult bridesmaids. I let them choose what they wanted to do with their hair. Two of the bridesmaids went to hairdressers in the morning.

Thanks this really helps! I think I will have the amazing stylist create hair & makeup for myself, my MOH and my mother & the second stylist for hair & makeup for the 3 other bridesmaids.
I think I'll end up having a different stylist & makeup artist to my bridesmaids because I'm having airbrush and they aren't. I don't think it'll be a problem if different stylists are booked x

Do be aware that some MUA's will not like there being another stylist or MUA
Ill marry my hero

I had a hair stylist do my hair and the bridal party, mums were more than happy to do their own hair. We all did our own make up as we know what suits us and it saved on money and time. I wouldn't imagine there is any etiquette, apart from the bride having more attention, lol!

I would ask of your original MUA/stylist has an assistant or offers a lower rate service. Hiring different people from different companies could cause problems.

We're paying for my two bridesmaids to have their hair done but only I'm paying for my make-up x

We were originally paying for mine plus bridesmaids hair & make up but my bridesmaids all look lovely with their own make up on and hair done the way they usually have it and none of them mind doing it theirselfs, I want my bms to look individual because they are all duch different peopke. So will just be getting my hair and make up done as im useless. All I do is straighten my hair and wear mascara xx

My friend is doing all the hair and I've of a make up artist coming in to do me, my mum and three bridesmaids.
It has cost me £120 for the hair and £220 for the make up
Cant wait until I become Mrs K

I've changed my mind I'm doing my own make- up now x

Nope, my friend done this recently. I persuaded her to, that way she had the more expensive and experienced concentrating on her and us BMs were done by the other, the fact that she had her own make up artist took a lot of stress away from worrying if people were ready on time xx
