Morning everyone! Just wondering if anyone had any hairdressers they would recommend in Kent? We are getting married in Canterbury and would ideally like someone that could come to the venue rather than us going to a salon. I live over an hour away so don't know of any at all.....and would rather get recommendations! Also makeup - still undecided whether to get someone to do this for me or do it myself (never had it done for me where I have actually like it before!) But if anyone knows a good one then I could go for a trial then decide.... Thanks!

If you add me back I can give you my hair and makeup lady's details...I can't recommend her completely until after my wedding (as I still need to test her on punctuality and sticking to a schedule) but she was excellent for the trial, and I know she regularly does weddings in Kent.

And yeah, I am excited...it's so weird that all the waiting and planning is coming to an end and I'll be married in less than three weeks.... We want to move to the States at some stage but our career plans keep changing so that makes it difficult to plan anything concrete! So right now we're saying we'll wait til we have kids. Where in the States did you live??

Thanks for the info! It's good that you are excited and not stressed! I've lived all over! New York, New Jersey, South Carolina and my Dad lived in Florida (but I was at uni so was only there in the holidays). Then holidays have sort of covered the other bits! I love the States, and we were talking about moving there before we went to Bermuda.....back in England for a couple of years then we may move again. I have itchy feet!
No recommendations, but we're also getting married in Canterbury in 4 months :)

Hi Molly sorry only just saw your question! I got on quite well with her actually. She was quite chatty but not in an obnoxious way, it was kind of like having a friend do your hair and makeup. I told her at the beginning that I didn't particularly like being primped and pruned for a long time and she got it all over with nice and quick, which I appreciated! She was really lovely and great with my bridesmaids too. Hope that helps!
