im not from the area, but have you tried local training schools for hairdressers. I know around here in surry they have trainee's who are supervised and its a cheaper price as your kind of the dummy to test on.
maybe find a good trainee this way. Word of mouth is always a good way and of course FB. I found wedding fayre people put their prices up, so say its for a family reunion or a family party - Wedding bumps prices up.
i used the most famous googily site to look for private ad. the tree of gum is a gd page to try for people advertising too.

Thank you, it's definitely a good place to start x
I found my lady on faceyb as a school friend had liked her page, then found she was at a wedding fayre over the road from my mum's house so went to meet her :)

I found a hair salon close to my venue via faceb00k, but so many people advertise their businesses on there. Hair, make up, nails, teeth, tan etc

My usual mobile hairdresser also does wedding hair so she is doing mine on the day. I am still looking for somebody to do my make up but have found a few people on FB that I might ask, that or an internet search might be the best thing to do.
Got together on 14th March 2010
Got engaged on 25th December 2013
Became Mrs P on 14th May 2016 - best day ever!
