    Just wondering if anyone has haggled on the price of your wedding dress. Always thaught it was a set price? X

    ohhhhhhhhh yeah i did while wearing it .......

    they had reduced it from £1500 as it was last seasons ....down to £695 then i haggled her down to £230 to take it there and then

    The mark up on a wedding dress can be huge. There is always room to haggle. If you can't get money off then you can ask for extras to be thrown in - shoes, tiara etc. As Lala says, dresses are reduced at the end of the season, then the shop just wants them gone to make way for new stock.

    Any ideas on how to haggle with a package price for the wedding breakfast at the hotel?? I'm due there this week so any handy tips would be useful :-) thank you x

    I haggled the hell out of our venue but completely forgot when I was trying the dress on, they offered a 10% discount but I know we coukd have got more. The venue I was just honest and said 'this is what I want, will you do it?' And if not what will you do for me?

    What type of things do you say to haggle on the dress im hopeless on these things i just pay the asking price but if it means i can get more to spend on shoes then il give it a go lol x

    Ask for their best price ..... Then do the .. It's still outside my budget is there anything else you can do
