    Hi,
I am in desperate need of some UKBride help. Me and the OH are having a joint Hen / Stag party as we both have the same friends etc.

There is 14 of us in the group, age range 19-34, we are looking to hire a lodge/caravan/house for the weekend of Feb or early March 2013, just for drinking, games, cooking, TV, Movies etc.

We had left this in our families hands and was assured it was all complete, and we have just had a message to say their initial plan to rent two prestige caravans at Haven, has been cancelled as the booking is for a mixed group, and it's a family resort.

They say they have explored every hotel/lodge in Northern UK, and alot of places don't accept Hen or Joint-Group parties

Me and OH are now fretting majorly about not having our weekend Hag party

We are looking for a Weekend Break, preferably Northern region, somewhere like Peak District, York, Newcastle, Lake District etc. (Group will be travelling from Middlesbrough) so ideally, max of 2hrs Drive.

We were trying to budget around £35 p/person so around (£400 to rent somewhere for the weekend to sleep 14) or 2x 7 (£200 p/lodge p/caravan).

Please UKBride save our Hag Weekend

Have you tried holiday cottages for you? They sometimes cater for bigger groups? Or try book two or three caravans and just tell a porkie that they're family groups? Xx

There is a spa resort in cornwall that my friend reccomended to me. It says they dont take ALL male single group parties but if its mixed then i dont see why not. Ill post link on your wall anf they have a live chat box so maybe you could enquire?

Theyre 5* lodges some come with their own hot tub. Think the biggest one sleep's 12 people BUT saying that they do allow you to bring in air beds and have a few extra people stay there too.

I dont think the resort is very far from Newquay either.

I not 100% sure what they have on site but know they have a health centre and spar, restraunt and a Flow rida surfing machine.

    Hope this helps :) x

Are u planning a mad one? Just don't tell them what the event is for? I went on a hen do to ceter Parcs and we didn't say it as a hen do, just got all dressed up once there, we weren't allowed to wear our sashes in the day cos of it being 'family orientated' but on the nights in the bar we went wild with all the accessories and we took loads to decorate the lodges too x
