Hi Ladies

Well I have just got back from Liverpool and wanted to update you all on my Hen weekend.

So started off on Friday afternoon my 2 friends came over as we were driving from Leicester to Liverpool together. I had decided i would make some cake pops to take to the party and we decided to make them w1lly shaped!!! so we spent 2 hours crying with laughter as we dipped cake w1llies in chocolate and adding the finishing touches chocolate sprinkles and a drizzle of white chocolate!! ( i think you can work out what they both represented!! lol)

Then we set off almost an hour late as we were having so much fun!!! The sat nav decided to take us on a totally random route which headed into ALL major traffic hotspots on a Friday rush hour!!!!!!! Then the heavens opened which slowed everything down!!! Ended up being almost 2 hours late to the apartments where everyone was all ready waiting for me.

Got to the apartments we were in the penthouse which was amazing and my BMs had decorated the whole place with embarrassing pics of me growing up and some of H2B plus some cartoon w1llies etc!!

They had loads of food and booze and handed me a large glass of wine as I entered the apartment!! Then came the games first up pin the w1lly on the groom. Very funny as they kept turning the picture upside down!!! Then Mr& Mrs with shots for every wrong answer. I started off great as I was getting all the questions right so to spice it up i had some of the shots for fun!!!! Whoops as I then was too drunk to take in the question so was giving all sorts of crazy answers!!! Including the answer to the question "where was the most adventurous place you’ve had s*x?" there were 3 possible answers and I instead gave a completely different answer in detail!!! Whoops!!! lol
By this point I’m so drunk I was sick and put to bed it was 11.30pm!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Saturday woke up feeling rather worse for wear but after a big breakfast and a shower i was ready for some retro roller disco fun!!!! I have to say this was the best choice for an activity as its just a big giggle!!! don’t think we stopped laughing the whole 90min party. We had party games musical statues, limbo and train relay!! And them some disco dancing all in crazy fancy dress followed by bubbly and certificates!!!

We headed back and I had a nap to finally shift my hangover!!! Had another shower and got dressed up for my night on the town. I was then given a personalized sash, veil and tiara and some other silly bits to wear!!! We headed off to a Brazilian BBQ restaurant which was a great choice as it was a set menu and we filled up on lots of amazing meats and veggies. Then we went to bars where I was given dare cards to complete and a drinks list to follow. We ended up in reflex dancing the night away to cheesy 80's and only got in at 4am!!!!

I have had the best weekend ever and am now so sad that it’s all over I’m planning on having a heniversary next year!!!!

To all you ladies who are still to have your hen nights just want to say enjoy it and have a blast as it’s one of those nights you will remember forever!!!

ClareE, i know we have alot of negative posts when things dont go to plan but if you dont put too much pressure on it and go with the flow it can be great. Also i must admit my BM's worked sooooooooooooo hard organising it all and that really showed,

You have to go to Alma de Cuba before 11 pm I won't tell you why but its worth it!!! If you want any other advice just ask, it was full of hen and stag parties which just adds to the festivities.

I do hope mine goes as fast - really wish it was tomorrow to be honest! Not much else to do - all my planning is done just have things on my list to buy & that's it really x

I'm having a quiet weekend while the boys are away, will be nice to have some alone time to focus on things, Ive got to alter part of my wedding dress so can do this without the risk of him walking in and seeing things he shouldn't!!
I'm sure your 7 months will fly by for you, x

Did you book the booth in advance do you know?

I feel useless but the places I go out on a Friday night in town are not places i'd want to go for my hen do with a load of out-of-towners (The Croc, The Exchange etc!)

We're having a meal near Alma, then cocktail making at revolution so Alma would be good as it's close. Sure can leave the sashes. By 11 prob be sick of them anyway!
