I had my hair trial today, a friend has kindly offered to do the hair for all the bridal party for free. I will attach some pictures from today. Please give me your honest opinions. Also do you think I should have the side plait or do you think it would look nicer without?

Oh it's lovely at the back, I like it with and without the plait! I think you could benefit from the front being cut a little shorter into a proper side fringe, but that's up to you of course. Your friend did a great job!

You hair is fab, something similar to what I want. Haven't got round to sorting hair out yet.
I do prefer it without side plait, but I suppose its what you prefer and feel comfortable with and also what tiara/hairpiece/if any you are wearing. xxx
Thanks ladies, I agree with you LegoBride that my fringe does need to be shorter. She is coming back to put low lights in soon so I will ask her to do it then. I'm still unsure about the side plait. @ Vickie I will be wearing a diamonte headband and a veil. Would of tried it with it on today but my mum is looking after all my wedding things. xx
CommentAuthorkrissy905
it looks lovely i personally would have it with out the plait but it looks great either way I'm having a similar style i think x

Just a question as I am a bit of a tomboy and don't know much about these things. Wouldn't the headband feel a little uncomfortable with the side plait? Just thinking as the plait is raised. Very good job though. xxx
CommentAuthorMrsDanks
Thats a thought Vickie, think I will make sure I have my headband here next time she comes round and maybe ask her to put a plait in to see how it feels. xx
CommentAuthorGazza 122
Aww i think your hair looks gorgeous, personally i dont think you need the plait in there as there is already detail in the back, plus your diamante band, i think it will look like there is too much going on in one style if u get me xxxxx
CommentAuthorSamantha
Looks really pretty! I think its nicer without the plait x
CommentAuthorLeighS
Your friend has done a great job hun. I think without the plait hun but i also think without the curly tendrils at the back too. If you have the fringe a bit shorter but not too much and a tight bun it will look very classic. Another idea is have the side of your hair pinned in to the centre at the back with all of the back in curly tendrils. This will look soft, smart and casual. I love your hair colour.

Its lovely and I prefer it without the plait x
CommentAuthorKellyN29
i prefer it without the plait, if you have a headband then it may not sit right with the plait but also the plait may be too much detail next to the diamontes, definately try them together next time :)
CommentAuthorHa_x3
wow your hair looks gorgeous, i prefer without the plait though xx

It looks beautiful both ways but I think I prefer it without the plait, especially if you have and veil and tiara it might not be comfortable.

It looks lovely, The only bit im not sure on is the plait but if you like it keep it x
CommentAuthorMrsP2be
I think your hair looks lovely but i think i prefer it without the plait, just for comfort reasons if you have a tiara and a veil. Your very lucky to have such a talented friend! xx
CommentAuthorxbeckix88
Its lovely!! i love the plait down the side!!
CommentAuthornatalie2614
I love the plait but think it looks lovelier without as theres detail at the back x

It is lovely honey but i prefer it without the side plait as it doesnt flow into the bun enough (if that makes sense) xx

Thanks ladies I knew I could count on you. I will try the plait with the headband and see how it feels, if its no good I will have it plain at the sides. Xx
CommentAuthorHayley Elizabeth
Yeah i think i prefer without the plait too, your hair looks gorgeous! Fantastic colour too! :) xx
CommentAuthormadhen
Your friend did a fab job, it looks gorgeous! I definitely prefer it without the plait though :)
CommentAuthorlilkitty11
Love the hair. Prefer without the plait tho. Ur friend did a brilliant job x
CommentAuthorCheyM
Hair looks lovely but I agree with the others about doing it without the plait as the hairstyle looses some elegance with it there. also a hint more volume on the top (more towards the crown) would do wonders to perfect the shape :) x
CommentAuthorOWB
I've only just seen this post. I love the plait, it makes it a bit different!

I love it with the plate, its classy but effortless very bella swan from twilight!! but defo try with the head band in, just in case xx
CommentAuthorwelshcerys
I like it with or without the plait hun but the only thing I can think of is as the plait is quite fashionable at the moment it may 'date' your wedding pictures quicker than if you went without it (if you know what I mean)???
CommentAuthorCarlaMac (Lee2B)
Love the plait it looks fab.
CommentAuthorHelenW
I love it, it looks great! The plait is very pretty, but i dont think it will be comfortable with a headband on. Try it with the headband next time and see how it feels! xx

I love it! I think the plait makes it unique to you - but personally I wouldn't have it with a diamante headband. If you had a hair comb then that'd be fine imo, but a headband + the plait would be fighting for attention lol.
Well done to your friend! Xx

I will keep you all informed on how I get on, will also tell her how much you all like it. Thanks again. xx

Gorgeous Iabelle :)
I like the non plaited version but if you put some sparkles in the plait it could be quite effective!
