it was the long awaited hen night thie weekend, started off at 9.30 with breakfast and a pint, then shots and fun times on the train to Manchester. Friends that organised it did really well and all 13 of us looked great. The theme as i suspected was bunny girls and everyone was wearing black clothing and all had sashes on.
Unfortunately for me my friends that came over with me and my repping friends didn't seem to gel and there was a bit of tension and 3 of my friends (the ones who had organised it) left at 10.30 under the pretense that one of them was too drunk to stay out, yet they've uploaded pictures on fb of them continuing the party at hers - so she can't have been that drunk!! Little bit miffed with them all if i'm honest as they put so much effort into it all then didn't want to try and ciculate with my friends (some of whom i've known over 15 years) and were making comments to me about my best friend who although normally can be a bit distant in large groups of people she doesn't know but was on TOP FORM for me. At one point i was all for going home as i don't do b1tchiness and think it was wrong that the reps were making comments to me about my friends!!!
Once they'd gone though, as horrible as it sounds the party really did start, we ended up going to a cabaret bar called the Birdcage that does drag acts - bl00dy brilliant and enjoyed every minute of it - Dolly Parton, Gloria Gaynor, Take That etc, what more could a girl ask for lol.
Only downside to the party as i have now well and truely lost my voice. I started with the cold last week and i think with all the screaming singing etc has taken its toll on the poor voice box lol. H2B is loving it though!!!
Well, now its the countdown to the big day - 4 weeks to go and thats it 10 months of planning and i can go back to working at work

guess these things are to be expected when people who are your friends are introduced to each other, just wish they'd kept their opinions to themselves. But hey hoe i still had a laugh......just wish someone would return my voice!!! xx
