hey ladies. i know it probably sounds like a good thing, but when asked his opinion on something my h2b replies with "whatver you want baby. i want what makes you happy" its lovely i know, but its not really helping, because i want it to be the perfect day for him too, and i just dont know what he wants!! i dont want to organise something that he wont like and spoil the day! help!!

Kimberlina ~ I am in exactly the same sitution h2b keeps saying to me that its my dream day so i should just choose everything but i'm scared i'll pick something he don't like. occasionally he'll look at stuff and give an opinion but most of the time he says he isnt bothered x

lol i say do you like this? he nods, what ever it is. i showed him an awful cake the other day just to see what he;'d say and he nodded and said it was nice, but i could see on his face that he thought it was awful too lol. the only input hes given me is that he would like a dark grey suit, not black lol x

Lol men are complete pains in the butt haha my h2b is exactly the same and it drives me mad, when he does actually pay attention he says most of what i chose he dont like so i say "then why pretend you aint interested?" lol my h2b wants a cream/ivory suit... pic in album called suit x

why not ask him just to help you find the things you want so that iwhen you see something you like you can judge by his face if he likes it too - might be a good start at getting him to be honest about what he wants :) xxx

Sorry to rub it in but mine is very helpful, comes up with idea's, comments on suggestions. He arranged a night out with some friends because one of the girls has sisters who 'do' cakes. He is great and that's why I'm marrying him. Ner!

Mine is a mix of both, he says when he definitely doesn't like something, and is really enthusiastic when I ask his opinion on cakes, suits etc. But occasionally he says "whatever you want baby" and I take that to mean that he has told me what he does and doesn't like for the really important things and everything else is not that big a deal to him, like the colour of scatter crystals, lol. We went to look at venues last week and he really took an interest and asked lots of questions so I don't feel alone in the planning. Good luck with your h2b in getting him more involved. xx

it does seem like he doesnt really care when hes says "whatever you want baby" but then you can guarantee when it comes to the day, if he doesnt like it he will have a strop! we cant win!!! =/

Stop worrying because the day will be perfect for him because you will be happy. That is all that matters to him and he wants you to have your day the way you want it. My h2b is brill and does help out a lot and is going to help me do the invites etc. He's had a big input to most things but he does it knowing it is making me happy.

Luckily for us we have similar tastes so no major arguments so far! Only problem is we ca't book and put deposits down until I find a new job and move so we are quite frustrated! But we have discussed a lot of things and managed to agree or compromise so we are both happy : )
