tell him to pick his fave and he can have that and you can always see if the venue can put speakers outside so those outside can hear the music. although personally i'd want there to be a quieter area that isnt drowning in music.

i thinkk angelan has the best idea there see if u can get some speakers put outside x if the venue isnt very big with two bands playing ud prob be able to hear both whereever u are n that could be very annoying x
