Wedding cake: H2B shocked me

Last night we was discusing wedding wedding cake prices. I said I have been looking for some cheap (but nice) wedding cakes. I saw M&S have some nice ones in, fairly cheap. He said he didnt want a cheap one! He would rather pay the extra and have a beautiful wedding cake with the guy we had already chosen. I was so shocked by what he said, I didnt expect it at all. I thought he would have gone for the cheaper option.

We are going to see the cake maker when we are next in Durham.

Bless its nice when they come out with things like that. I had the same with the h2b when I found my dress on ebay and he insisted that I have it new from the shop so I can have all the special treatment that comes with it.

He doesn't eat cake so thats why it shocked me. The cake maker we have chosen really is something special, his cakes are beautiful.

Men do care sometimes lol although ive got my cake from m&s i looked around at all the cake places but the cake we found in m&s was exactly what i wanted though, i wanted to keep it quite simple so was perfect, but theres not point just making do, shop around and get what you fall in love with :-D x

I wouldnt have minded the cakes from M&S, I saw one that was beautiful but H2B said No, we are getting the cake from ths chappy.
