Last night was pretty funny as the h2b was probing about my dress and was pointing out dresses on the sites that he likes. He really likes the 'princess' dresses as he calls them which are really the A-line dresses but I'm not going to go into that with him. I've been trying to throw him off the scent and told him that I hope he isn't disappointed when he sees mine as it isn't like the ones that he has been picking out. Bless he was so sweet and said that its not the dress he is marrying and that he can't wait to see me not the dress.

ah bless him. My h2b hasnt said anything about my dress as his really looking forward to the surprise. I just hope he likes it as its a little bit different!

I have trying to get martyn to help me pick one but he wont. Says its bad luck and that we dont need any more bad luck witht e wedding(what he means is my parents might say somethign in it) lol they wont i will glue there mouths shut in the smile possition. LOL

I'm the one that has to stop myself telling him! Especially when I had just bought it. He's totally determined he doesn't want to know anything about it at all. Just have to try and keep my mouth shut!

yeah sort of. Its sitting in our bedroom atm and he swears he hasnt looked but has asked me what type of style and stuff. My bms have told him about it and hes been quite good up until today when he started quizing me about it coz we were watching the wedding channel. The thing is, my dress looks horrible on the hanger if he peeks so he will get a good shock when he sees me in it (hopefully) hehe xxx

My h2b tried to probe once and hasn't since as we ended up arguing. I said my dress wasn't white or ivory and he got quite cross thinking i was going to turn up wearing a blood red or black wedding dress and end up turning the wedding into a farce or some kind of theatrical event! I asked him if he just wanted to see it so i could get his approval or not and that shut him up. He knows deep down that it will be fine, but it must be hard for some of the grooms to not know, or maybe just mine, lol. But i would be just as apprehensive if he was let loose to pick his own suit without me seeing it too! Your h2b sounds really sweet though, and I am sure you will blow him away on the day. :)

I have got Kev thinking that mine is red and his mum has been playing along with it too. He also thinks I'm not wearing a veil too. I've got the princess dress and everything but he doesn't have to know that until the day and in the mean time I want to keep him guessing. He will be blown away on the day bless him. I can't wait to marry him.

I find it really hard to keep anything from him because we have such an open relationship. He couldn't keep my car a surprise and told me it was a Rolls Royce within a week lol. I nearly told him I was having a veil but I managed to turn it around and say that I would have to buy a cheap hen do veil as I wasn't having one so now he thinks I accidentally told him I wasn't having one. Phew! Quick thinking there!
I just want the dress to be a complete surprise so when I see one that looks like mine I tell him I don't like it lol. He is trying to build a picture in his head for the times thinks about us getting married but that picture is going to be nothing like the real thing ;)

Gav hasn't really pried that much - but I have a tattoo on the top of my right arm, and he did ask the other day if I was covering my tattoo with the dress. I just laughed and said that'd give the style away so I'm not telling lol. My dress has been at my parents since last October so I know he can't peek - but we're getting married at Gretna so travelling up by car the day before. He's just said that I'd have to put the dress in the boot when he's not looking, so that's what I'll be doing - then unpacking it into the hotel once he's gone to his room (he's got a single room the night before the wedding).
Because we're only having a small wedding, all I've said to him is that it was no good getting a 'big' dress for a simple, small ceremony and reception - and he agreed - but the dress has about 5 layers built in and isn't as simple as I've made it out to be lol.
