    Morning all.

    A little, very silly rant...

I finished the day invitations (I think there are pics in my album) this weekend and I said to H2B that we'd wait until after H2B's nephew's christening and his niece's birthday before sending them, so as not to take the shine off their celebrations (long story but H2B's mum sent her wedding invitations to arrive in H2B's sister's wedding day - cue overshadowed day!).

Anyway, I was looking forward to sending them together at the end of October, giving people 3 months to reply (we give final numbers mid-February, so wanted time to chase people up) but he's took them to work with him this morning at 5:30am and posted them :o(

Now, I'm excited that they have been sent, but I wanted to post them together :o( So I feel a bit sad.

I don't expect a response as I know this is pretty sad/pathetic on my part, but just wanted to tell people who might understand.

    Thanks ladies and gents x

i can understand how you feel, when we originally planned to get married for this year H2B took the invites to his side of the family the day i needed to tell him that financially we werent going to be able to do it. i wanted to post them together a bit closer to the wedding too.
Its not pathetic its your wedding and these little preparation parts mean just as much as the big day in my opinion xx

I understand, I get like this over things that to other people may seem small and stupid, but they are not they are big things in my world! I remember on my 10th birthday I had a party and I had drawn out and taken them to school to hand out, then my friend took them off me and gave them out for me, I was gutted :( Look on the bright side..H2B is enthusiastic about it and is helping :) xx

    Thanks for the responses x

My main worry now is if the stamp covers the cost of the postage. I took a dummy invite to the post office in April and it had to be a large first class stamp for the size and weight. I just hope no-one has to pay! How awful - I'd be so embarrassed.
