Just caught up with this...
His behaviours reminds me of my ex's - whereby he was the guilty one of doing wrong in our relationship, but started to ignore me, constantly text *someone* else all the time, spend time with her when I was at work, started to pick at my behaviour and try to get me to start fights. He often left me confused and crying as I was always wondering what it was that I was doing wrong, when in reality it was him doing wrong but didn't have the balls to say that he didn't want to be with me. Eventually it got to the point when I booted him out (well, it started out as a trial but I had no intention of having him back unless he made serious effort), and even the he still said he loved me even though he was cheating.
He had tried all he could to blame me to justify in his mind what he's doing is ok.
In short, he needs to be honest with himself and honest with you because keeping you in limbo is not the way you treat someone you love!!

Rachael, I find myself checking this every hour or so to see if you have updated us on how things are going. You are in my thoughts and i really hope you enjoyed your night out last night and that things can return to normal for you very soon. Sending hugs

Hi guys, since Friday things have significantly improved. He came home from work Friday in a lot better mood and was acting pretty normal with me..even fell asleep cuddling me like he used to. So Saturday morning he had packed his bag ready for the hotel and I questioned him why he was acting so suspicious and why he was having to go to a hotel. He said again that he just wanted some space away from it all to clear his head and that I need to stop questioning him as that was one of the things getting to him. I was pretty teasy with him as you could imagine. Anyway, then he was ready to leave, he came and gave me a massive hug and a kiss and told me he loved me and left.


As he left, I sent a photo of a screenshot of his book of face status from 3 weeks ago about how excited he was for the wedding and told him to consider what had made him flip 180 since then. Straight away I got a message back saying that he isn't going anywhere just need space as I did and that he loved me and hoped I still wanted this. I left it as that expecting not to hear anymore from him but he then rang me in the afternoon and sent me messages again later on telling me to have a good night and I looked beautiful etc.

He came home today, back to his normal self. Told me he'd done some wedding shopping and then fell asleep at the hotel watching the golf after going to the hotel gym (this story seems to add up due to the sweaty gym clothes etc he came back with) he said he stil dosent know why he felt like he did but he's feeling fine again now.

Obviously I'm not happy with him and said he's treated me so badly and made himself look completely guilty! He said he thinks I started over analysing instead of just taking a step back and giving him a few days to shake it off and that his cousins situation has really effected him too. So it appears it really was cold feet and he just decided to handle things very badly and act like a douchebag!! Time to make him suck up!!

Awwww so pleased things have improved so much hun, so so pleased and at least you can now get back on track with your relationship and continue with your plans. And so glad you enjoyed your night out hun, you definitely really deserved it!! xxx

Hi, just back from hols and wondered how things had been as kept on reading posts before i went away. So glad and happy for you that everything is sorted.
perhaps you could find time for a night away together before the wedding so that you both can have some relaxation time together away from all wedding plans.
