Hi all, just wondering if anyone has come across any fabulous pens and holders in their searches?
What are you all having?
I've found a couple of nice pens but they're just not what I want. This is our guest book and I want a decent pen for guests to use when signing that suits our guestbook (I'm going to go over the gold 'ME' with blue diamantes as our colours are silver and blue)

Have you thought about getting a plain looking pen and maybe decorate that with navy blue diamantes so it matches the book x
Ah Sian - you have an excellent point...never thought of that!
My mum bought a stunning silver pen with blue swarosvski crystals in the top for her friends birthday and I wanted it but she said that was too risky to use - in case it broke or was pinched! I might just improvise with my own diamantes. Cheers love

I remember seeing the same guest book in Yeovil last week and thought how cute it looked!
Liz3yy - I saw it in a shop called Utility in Liverpool months ago and just fell in love - I love the inside cover with the "woohoo" as I'm always saying / writing / texting it lol. It's just so us!
Just been showing Simon some gorgeous wedding pens and holders and he was like "they're so naff! It'll only go awol, just get a normal pen" - ha, somehow I can't see us passing around the Bic! Lol

at a wedding the guestbook was passed around during the reception, the pen kept disapperaing so people ended up using their own! I'm thinking of leaving mine on a table and just getting a few decent pens and leaving them next to it. x

Yeah ClareE - being BM twice meant I had to walk around EVERYONE with the guest book and fancy pens to get them to sign it as ordered by the Bride lol. I find that just leaving it on a table, people don't necessarily notice it. So now I don't know what to do!

They were priced at £11 in Liverpool, but I've seen a couple on the bay for £9.99 and £5.00 so keeping an eye on them!

Here's what we are doing...
Each guest will have a mini gel pen and a couple of these;
Heart-shaped Post-it notes.jpg
We'll ask them to write their message to us on the post-it and then stick it on this;
Signing Frame.jpg
No-one has to write too much, they don't have to wait for the book to come around, no-one has to be in charge of it, any mistakes can have another post-it and any rude messages I can remove lol!
Simples!

Ah tinsel that's a lovely idea but will they stay on? My post it notes always seem to fall off as the sticky goes.
Alana - I've just ordered the same thing of vp. Had an email about it and thought it was ideal! Going to buy the guestbook on Wednesday from the shop so I can make sure I get a decent one and it's not marked or anything!

I was at a wedding on Thursday and the pen kept getting left behind, I would suggest trying to attach your pen to the book, maybe a strip of ribbon in your colour or something to attach it.
P.S. Love you book, very cute!

I was just about to suggest the same thing about the pen on vp, but I see you've already done it! I've ordered one this afternoon too, even got our photo on it and only paid the postage!
Very happy to say I'm now Mrs Keates and loving it!

Ah Roxy that IS a good idea...

Lovely pen and the price is great!

I know! Si was like "Don't order the second one (even though it's nicer) you're just wasting money"...until I pointed out that the first pen was free (minus the p&p) and the second one is only £1.99 (should be £9.99) lol...so I've bought it.

I have a pen that will be used for my signing frame that my usher will be keeping an eye on so it doesnt go missing! But I also have a guest book but with a difference............we are having a prop box where guests get to dress up and take polaroids of themselves to put in the book then they sign the other side. For this my dad has got a box of ball point pens for me hehehe
