Just wondering how many people are going on your hen nights/went on your hen nights?

Also how do you decide on who you are inviting? I know you should only invite people who are going to the wedding, what about inviting people who will only be getting an evening invite?

My bridesmaids asked me for a list the other week. Majority of those people on my list were only invited to the evening and think there about 16ish. I figured if some don't turn up I won't mind because it's partly a chance to reconnect with some, but also if people can't afford it or get time off then I'll still have a decent number left to take part, hopefully! X

I had eleven people there, and it was a mix of day and evening people. There are friends who live locally who weren't close enough to be full day but because they live nearby I see a bit more of them. A lot of the ladies on the full day are family members, some older, and they were a lot less obvious.

I have 9 for my hen do - only wanted a small intimate one. That way you don't spend the night trying to keep everyone together.

My first one was a small one: a break away for 3 nights with me, my 4 bridesmaids, and my mum.

My second (2 weeks before the wedding) was bigger; I invited most of the women who were invited to the day (bar those who weren't local), plus a couple who were evening-only, and it ended up being 12 of us, which for me was a nice number.

For my weekend I had invited 12 of my friends both day and evening invites, only 5 of those invited are going and paid the deposit plus me and my sister so 7 of us going I cant wait.

I will be having a bigger night out at home and most of my family will be invited again its day and evening invites

Iv just written a list of 17, all are full day people. Fairly sure not all of the 17 will be able to come though. I will have another evening for my choir ladies as there are loads of them who will be evening guests, it would be too much to combine everyone together.

I think I'm going to be similar to you MrsJennKirby, I have a list of about 17 who I think I'll invite to the weekend (only one from work, she works in a different department to me but we have been out a few times together and really get on) and then my ladies I work with are throwing me a little night as well.

I'm not expecting all 17 to come either.
