I know we have ages yet but we have sort of got our invited Oh will be making these closer to the date.

we are obviously having the accept/decline, a bit if they want to use the coach, and also dietary requirements.

GUEST INFO.
I want to put the hotel details how much rooms costs etc as well as 2 alternative hotels close by.

In addition to that I was thinking about putting the nearest train station and how much it would roughly cost for a taxi and taxi number.

Coach information Ie where its picking up, pick up time etc and what time its returning.

H2b thinks this might be too much info but I think you can never have too much lol What does everyone think and is there anything else that they might need to know.

Hi I had the invite insert with the basic information i.e date, time, where and RSVP and then made a seperate sheet to go inside with menu and hotel information and prices which folded and fit inside. This worked well. People will appreciate information especially if they are coming from a long way away.

I was worried about the amount of information (and the cost of extra inserts) so I created a wedding website where everyone can RSVP online and find out all the information they need.
I think the information you plan to give is fine but I wouldn't include the costs of anything.

We are doing the invites etc ourselves so we aren't that worried about the cost.

Im not putting a menu in as its an on the day order for a choice of 3.

I did pay for ours but I believe there was also a free option (*****************************). If you do an online search for wedding websites a few should come up. Most offer a free version and have options to upgrade for a small fee depending on what features you want to include.

I was worried about this too, and also causing more problems for us as the reception hotel doesn't have any allocated parking but a lot on road parking. So ewe have

General invite, date time etc
Menu selection
Info re hotel room reservation and price
Bit about gift list

I figured most people have sat nab now a days and they will have plenty of time to plan, plus there will be people able to follow each other and it's not too far.

Most folk live at least 40 mins drive from my venue (My uncle took great pleasure in telling me this and he doesn't drive blah blah)

we will be putting coaches on from Glasgow city centre and returning too. A lot of people will be staying over either at the venue or close by.

Hotel information for our venue and also the 2 closest to us

Nearest train station and tell them its a short taxi journey away

Taxi numbers

We don't need, Gift list info (We aren't having one) or Menu choice as its an on the day order (will be putting that on the info though)

I was thinking more post and pre wedding like where good to visit but that wouldn't really be included in invites .

One thing a friend did but this was for family out of towners only was put the ushers mob number in only to be used if issues on day such as transport problems etc
