im sorry i really need to vent at the minute!! I have been trying and trying to ge ry to write his guest list for months now!! and i cant do it for him!! He is still optimistic that we will get married in may next year (i very much doubt it!) and yet he still wont do his guest list!! i ned to know for numbers so i can try get different options as we on a very small budget!! (1250 at min) and although i do have a credit lmit on a card enabling me to go up a bit more i dont want to unless it necessary!! and so ineed those numbers and details!! im sick of asking him because i have the list from his mum of who i should invite but i need his friends etc!! cos there people i know he doesnt want but does that mean he dont want the partners (his cousins) or what?? GRRRRRRR and this last time i asked i told him why i need the numbers he told me i sounded like crazed person and what do i need em for now anyway and i keep trying to tell him if he dont get him backside in gear next year wont happen because it will be too short notice for people and everywhere will be booked up!!!

please help me!!! How can i get him to actually do this?? Its not like im asking him everyday or week even and im not asking him to do anything else but i cant keep putting everything off cos i dont have numbers!! plus i need him to get in touch with his aunty so we can go round and chat about flowers (she doing them for us) but i know his uncle had a minor heart attack recently but even he is back to walking round thr drive (3 miles) so it not like it huge! and it would only take about an hour tops!!

im getting seriously frustrated and it getting to the stage where my parents wonder if he even wants to marry me!! because he wont talk about it!

sorry for the long post but im getting to my wits end!!!

I started a spreadsheet, with key names and then no. next to them e.g for families, then did another column with 'bride's friends/family' etc so that my H2B could fill in his bit - I found that by setting up a structure and letting him fill in the gaps was much easier than asking him to start from scratch - then I said it was up to him and left it open on the computer - 2 days later it was done!

I had the same problem. I turned the tv off and insisted he did it there and then. I wasn't getting anywhere just "reminding" him. Might have been a bit drastic but it worked! Xx

i have tried the spreadsheet option and i know he is always working on his computer but he just doesnt seem to get the message!! he keeps saying it will take a lot of thinking and then never does it!! i think if i dont get it done soon then i will invite who i think with his mums help so no important family is missed out and if he dont like it tough!!

have had enough now and with the week im having it not a good time to mess with me!!
