My flower girl has just turned 3, our wedding is October this year so she'll be just over 3 n a half. Bought a bargain dress for her, aged 3-4 at a bargain price of £12 -perfect for her, love the dress and so does she (and her mum!). Tried it on her yesterday and it fits perfectly now! Nightmare, by October I presume she will have grown loads so will no doubt be too small!! Arghhhh - back to the drawing board!

She won't grow that much, my daughters 4 in 3 weeks so will be 4 when we get married but got her dress and it's a teeny bit big I tried a dress on her for a party that she worn 6 months ago and at that time it fit her perfect and it still does now! Get her mum to get her redbook out and look at the growth chart and it will give you a vague indication of where she'll be in October Other than that buy a age 4-5 (which I think will be massive!) but then sell which ever you don't use xx

they don't grow as much at that age, I would not worry about it too much

Sorry I disagree. They always seem to grow loads over the summer so if it fits now it'll be too small in 7 months. I was worried enough as my 2 teenage BM's were measured in November and one has shot up since then. But the other, my daughter, hasn't grown at all! Xx

This is my worry my daughter and my best friends daughtrr are 5 and 6 at the moment im leaving their dresses to one of the last things possible. I did her school uniform early last year by september it didnt fit her.
Unfortunately yes she will grow a lot, this is why our I didn't order the dress for our niece until 4 months before the wedding and ordered it so there was room to grow so on the day it did fit perfectly.
