    Please help me!!!! lol

I am totally at a loss as to what to do about H2B's transport. He cant make up his mind what he wants coz everything is too expensive. Its ridiculous what they charge just to take him from his parents house to the church which is literally a 10 min journey!

Best man is useless, h2b has asked him countless of times to sort it for him, but still nothing is sorted. So im taking it upon myself to sort it, but everything is just to expensive. I got a quote for a bently, £400!!!!!!

Anyone got any suggestions of what I could do??

Do you know anyone that has a nice car that wouldn't mind driving him? My dad drove one of my mates to her wedding because the limo people cancelled on her two days before the wedding. x

His head chef at work has a jag, I suggested he ask him, but he can be very unreliable and he doesnt want to risk him not turning up on the day, other then that, we dont know anyone with a nice car :-(

My h2b has booked a Rolls for me and his parents which cost £325 just for a couple of hours. I got a Jag for two days for £395 for him to drive to the venue but I think its about £200 for the first 24 hours and it means you get to drive it for as long as you like etc. I can find you the link if you are interested as they have branches around the UK.

Xould his best man not drive them down? NOrmally the groom and best man are there before any of the giests arrive so no-one would even see the car.

My h2b is either going in car with his best man and parents if they dont mind being really early. Otherwise the best man is driving as he'll need his car for the next day any way.

    xx

The only problem with hiring a car for him to drive is what happens after the ceremony when we travel to the reception, coz he will be coming in my car? What we then gonna do with his car?

My h2b's parents have already said that they will pick him up on the day - could your FPIL do the same? If so, you could buy the ribbon and dress the car yourselves x

Nice idea but H2B's dad's car is rust bucket! lol. Would want better for him to be honest. Also his dad is an alcoholic and always drunk, so dont really want him driving him to the church!

Have you not got any family or friends with a nice car that h2b wouldn't mind going in. My h2b has asked one of his friends if he will take him to the church in his range rover sport, his friend said yes he would but on one condition.......he didn't offer or try and give him any money for dooing it! Bargin a great friend does a great favour. Ask about hun it's amazing what family and friends will do for you on such a special day. All the best xxx

If the best man can drive hire a car from a hire company and get him to drive, depending on the car you want it should work out a lot creaper. x

You can have an additional driver put on a hired car and it doesn't cost that much so if you know someone who is willing to do that for you it would solve a problem. It would also give you transport back home again the next day. I've got someone going to pick up the h2b's car in the morning to drop off and surprise him with. I'm sure if you ask around friends and family you will find someone that has a decent car that they can put some ribbons on etc and look the part.
