I'm looking for a lime or apple green short bridesmaid dress - I only have 1 bridesmaid, but have searched the net and bay of e etc. and nothing in the shops at the moment to look at in this type of colour. dont want to risk buying one from china etc. as I am wary of these sellers on bay of e.
im thinking of waiting until the high street spring colours come out to see what they have, as the bridal shops i have tried so far only have small colour swatches in these shades of green and you cant really tell from a small swatch of material if it will look right in reality.
Where did you get your green dresses from if you had green? Im in Yorkshire, but my BM is in Northampton so could search there for herself too.
Any ideas or advice gratefully received! I dont want to spend a fortune - ideally no more than £150.00

Im looking for green too :) The only ones I can find that are the right green are from bridal stores, which are £100 to £150ish.
I, like you, was thinking of waiting until the spring colours come in and maybe going to coast, bhs, debenhams or monsoon. Hope fully they will have a nice green then :)

i got my bridesmaid dresses (which are green) fron kettering (near northampton) but they were from ronald joyce so you could see if there is a stockist near you. Bhs have not yet released all of their colours i dont think but they have got their new collection online now.
Also in northampton there is a bridal shop near the jesus centre at the top of abington street (town centre) i looked in there and they had fairly big selection of dresses in a range of greens to order. might be worth a look there too!!!

thanks for your ideas ladies, will check out the shops your have mentioned and also keep my eyes peeled for the new (hopefully) summer green colours on the high street next season too so as not to blow the budget.

im having lime green bm dresses, i got mine from brides of york in micklegate, its an alfred angelo one and a pic is in my photos, it might be worth hanging on a couple of months cos in all the bridal mags the big thing for 2011 is green so high street will most prob follow suite...good luck x x x :O)
