Ok so my H2B is half Greek and we are asking if his relatives can come to our wedding in May 2012. all we keep getting is we dont know cant you just put us down for it anyway!!?!? his cousin Maria said it all depends on weather and money but we are giving them enough nottice! we understand that only a few can make it but she just thinks we should send out an invite. Is she isnt going to give us a proper answer than why would she respond to an invite?! Getting on my nerves becuase i want to know now because if they dont or cant come i want to invite other people. Dont know what else we can say to her?x

Have you sent your invites yet?? If not then don't panic - I have a lot of overseas relatives too, and all have had emailed save the dates, but no-one has officially said they'll come yet - however, we've budgeted so we assume they're coming, and are sending our invites slightly earlier than usual (5-6 months before the wedding) - with an RSVP of 9 weeks before. Our caterer etc has given us a price per head and doesn't need final numbers until a couple of weeks before, so as long as you've covered this then you should be able to calm down! We also have a back up of a second wave of invites, so if people can't come then we can ask more people to come in the day rather than night etc...
