Had a up and down down. Spent the day going through EVERYTHING! total the cost up and it came to more than we budgeted for. Then got worked up that i wouldn't be able to afford the day, or honeymoon as we still need to remember Car insurance, MOT, tax etc

So went over to Daddy's tonight, he has gone through things and made me realise we can afford it, then he said what ever happens, what ever money we save he will make sure the wedding is paid, he is already giving us £1500 but wants to give us that as a wedding pressie for after the wedding as a starter point to married life. He said save what you can and either way the full thing will be paid for. so feel a lot better now. First time in months i've got ill through wedding planning. Enjoyed it loads but this past month had a lot of stress with family moaning, not getting there own way and also slating idea's we have. Plus i've booked 5 things ie flowers, hair, suits etc in 1 week so that was a lot to deal with. and also overwhelming Now sat in bed and H2b has just made me a big hot choc with whipped cream. Feeling better now but also very very tired.

Glad it's sorted, hope you feel better I'm sure the hot choc will help, wish I had one! Will have to wait to be treated until thurs tho as that's when he comes home. Dads are great aren't they

aww bless your dad and your h2b for the hot chocolate. ive had a couple of moments like this. Especially with two children and christmas and BIG birthdays like my sons 1st and pauls 30th inbetween lol. we all seem to sort everything and pay for it how ever stressed we are and when we think we cant pay for it. :) glad your feeling better

I get stressed all the time about whether we can afford to get married next June, even though it isn't even an expensive wedding. I get panicky as I have my sons birthday tomorrow, Christmas, the in laws to be wedding anniversary and my daughters, h2bs and my birthday as well as car getting MOTd before the big day. It is amazing how ill you can get worrying about such things, but so glad you feel calmer now that you have that reassurance from your dad about it all getting paid no matter what. x

Ah bless thats lovely!!! My dad us giving us our wedding budget and we are paying for things ourselves too but still getting panicked about things! We haven't even booked honeymoon which will also come out our pocket and its starting to get on my wick!!

When book loads in one week it seems mega but think of end result ;-) i'm to scared to total ours up so far but it is something i really really have to do
