I went to visit our preferred photographer today to look at his work and prices etc. We are impressed with him but not sure whether he is giving us a good deal or not so could I have some opinions before we book him please?
He is charging us £1000 for the package that includes: 2 photographers Photography from bridal prep to first dance A photography corner in the evening until 11pm 40 page graphistudio album 35cm x 25cm DVD slide show DVD of images (with copyright licence) 2 photos of bride and groom for parents A large photo or 2 medium ones for bride and groom A calendar with pictures from the day on.

Well I'm paying £1650 for one photographer and a disk of images. So I think you've got a pretty good deal.

Sorry Sammi he only does local and you profile says you're from hampshire, whereas he's in Norfolk. We got it down from £1500 to £1000 but would just like a few opinions before we book him and Joanne, that sounds like a brilliant deal! xxx

sounds like a good deal. I was looking at one similar to that with 2 photographers for 1600 need to try and get them down though as I dont want the honeymoon shoot. xx

Our price is going to be £895 but we got 15% off so we are paying £760
This includes pre wedding engagement shoot, getting ready shots of the bride OR groom, the ceremony, posed group photos, romantic shots with the couple alone, posed cake cutting shots, speeches, evening guests arriving and first dance together with 130-150 8x6 prints in a proof album. Reprints at additional cost.
The photographer is great so easy to talk to and listens to exactly what we want, the reviews from other people, are great! ANYONE WANTS THE NAME OF THIS PHOTOGRAPHER LET ME KNOW :), He is currently taking bookings for wedding shoots in and around Norfolk and Suffolk. The packages start from as little as £595!!! xXx

Thats a really good price for norfolk and around the area, Im paying £695 for one photographer all day untill first dance (8.30pm) A4 story book album and 5 10+8 prints of our choice x

Yep does sound good! We're paying £900 and we get 2 photographers for the whole day (inc.eve) , 600+ photos and a DVD slideshow.... No album though...... The guy who is taking them is a friend of mine too, we have a little history lol but he didn't give us discount either! But to be honest, the amount of editing he will have to do for 600 photos, I think I can let him off! He's amazing too so I'm so happy we've got him :-) x

We've just booked ours in combo with a videographer as they're doing a massively discounted Jubilee deal for £298. It's the same guy people have posted about before (I think Hails is having him) as he does deals via their facebook page. He's located in the North East but travels all over for free :)

Linzi-Jo have had a look at his work and hes pretty good, i'd say its definitely worth the money with the album too :-) Im now looking at double that for mine- eeeep!
EcoFreak, I would be interested if any bride has booked him off here and are getting married soon. He seems a little too good to be true? Maybe hes just filling up all of his days and that's why he can charge the rates he does, but I certainly wouldn't do all of that for the money! xx

mmm.. Sounds ok, but Im not sure about limiting the number of pictures we are paying £1000
for pre-wedding shoot photographer all day from preparations to 1st dance disc with all images 1 large story book album and 2 parents albums (all 3 are the ones made in italy). They are idenical just different sizes Editing the albums etc a large framed picture for us to keep I live in Wigan, as does our photographer, but he is traveling to Edinburgh for that...

Have spoken to both my parents and h2b and I think we will probably go with him. KATG I dont understand what you mean by limiting the number of pictures? We get all the pictures on the disc with the copyright licence for them :s Plus, my dad has now offered to pay half if we decide to go with him, so technically h2b and I will only have to pay £500 for it :) xxx

EcoFreak, I also have him on facebook, and dont know whether you have seen but he is now saying he is going to be charging for travel! May be an idea to get in touch with him and find out if he is charging those who are already booked, or only new bookings xxx
