Hi Ladies, Looking for some inspiration. My Grandparents will have been married 50 years in a few weeks time. As they gave up a large portion of their lives to bring up my brother and I after my mum walked out on us I obviously want to spoil them rotten. I know they would love a cruise but I am unable to afford this. So I was hoping you may have some unique ideas for a Golden Wedding anniversary gift, or be able to point me in the right direction for a good deal for a romantic break away for them. TIA xx

Hiya, a cruise doesn't have to be that expensive, there are usually good deals on med cruises, or they could go from Southampton on something like a round Britain or Norwegian Fjords cruise. Or how about one of the weekend breaks to Amsterdam or Bruges you can do with P& 0?
Alternatively you could produce a photo album or get a canvas of the four of you and present that to them?

For PHs grandparents we got them a good one anniversary rose and champagne with gold flecks in it. How about a gold photo frame with a pic of you and them as kids and a pick of you all now?

I would get gold frame or (frames) with maybe a locket or pocket watch in gold with their anniversary date on and I like the sound of gold speckled champagne also I would also get roses that have been coloured gold. Or send them for a lovely romantic break and meal find a lovely honeymoon suit or send them to a beautiful cottage little retreat somewhere in the country lots of greenery around and activities they like Xxx
