    Hello,
We want to go and give notice soon and my h2b has been divorced,he can't locate his decree absolute, does anyone know if you can get a new one, I don't think we can give notice without it, also what else do we need to take ? I have time but want to do it ASAP

    Thanks in advance xxx

Check out direct gov this is info they have :

Contact the court where the divorce, dissolution or annulment took place to get a copy of a decree absolute or final order.

Find the address and phone number for the court by using the court finder.

If you know the case number, a copy of a decree absolute or final order costs £10.

If you don’t know the case number, the cost is £45.

If you don’t know which court to ask

You can ask the Central Family Court to search for the decree absolute or final order. This will cost £65.

Fill in the form at the back of the leaflet request for search for decree absolute, and return it to the address below with the fee.

One thing as well to consider is try and ring the council office of where the notice is being given as they maybe able to help you out to make sure everything is ready for the notice appointment :)
