i remember giving our notice,,was may 19th last year!!!!,,i was soscared and excited,,,,i got a rush or sudden realisation of how real it all was,she then took us to the ceremony room and showed me and glenn were we would be standing and holding hands to say our vows,,i was crying then,god knows what im going tobe like on the day..giving notice is a ery exciting time,,im glad you enjoyed it hun,just make sure you enjoy the rest of your planning x~x~x

I think it depends on what sort of Church it is eg CoE, Methodist, Catholic etc...

I think that they will read the banns in church so I don't think you need to give notice to the registrar but I would check with your vicar to be 100% sure!
