If i dont wear my glasses, all i can see out of my right i is my nose, because of the shape of my cornea.
I certainly wont be going anywhere without them.

I have to pay over £500 for my glasses every year, i dont get any help towards them. I have to have my right lens thinned.

Have you tried wearing thick frames, as then the thickness of your lenses arent as noticeable. xx

It all depends on how my eyes are by then, they seem to be getting worse quickly. If i can still see without them (i only wear them because i have an astigmatism in my right eye so my left eye is overcompensating and i get headaches) then i'll not bother for the day and photo's and just put them on when my head starts hurting. If not i'll just wear my 'nice' glasses (i have 3 pairs lmao)

All i wanted as a child was glasses, all of my family wore them but me. I got myself convinced at one point that i was adopted as i didnt wear them. xx

You could if you want. You need to remember thou, they need to be suitable for the rest of the time, you'll be wearing them.
Mine are black and pink, with flowers on the legs, i normally go for something different. I'll be getting some new ones before the wedding, as i have to replace them every july. ( my prescription always changes so i need to re new them.) xx

I actually really like my glasses, and very rarely wear my contacts (only worn them once so far this year) but I am going to wear the contacts for the day. I'll have to start wearing them regularly on the run up so that my eyes are used to them again as I'll have them in for a lot longer than if I put them in now which is usually just for a night out.

Both me and h2b wear glasses and will be on our wedding day! I can't see a thing without my glasses - people's faces are just a blur with dark holes for eyes (which is really freaky!), so don't want to be walking down the aisle and not recognise anyone!

Plus I've worn glasses for about ten years and I look a bit strange without them now lol. Contact lenses not an option - have a weird thing about eyes. I fear the opticians like others fear the dentist! x

If you're really that vein and dont want to be seeing double then you'd wear contacts.."wrong" or not!

I've worn glasses since I was 6. I think I look strange without them and no-one knows me without them so not wearing them would be weird! I'll be wearing them with pride on my wedding day. I am due a new pair so may splash out on some new ones for the wedding, maybe pink to go with my colour scheme. xx

Can't really blame me in wearing my contacts as if i just left my glasses off completely i wouldn't be able to read what i am signing. I am long sighted lol! x

i wear contacts but if I hadnt worn them I would have been ok about wearing my glasses. A lot of brides dont have much choice and so wear them anyways, just check they go with the dress and you can accessorise them and make them part of your outfit.

Just don't do what I did and go on the p*ss and then wake up thinking you are cured cuz you forgot to take them out the night before

My friend regrets not wearing hers as she can't wear contacts so ended up missing half the day as she couldn't see things properly and look like she was squinting on all the photos. It also looked nothing like her as we are all so used to seeing her with them on and I think they are a part of her.

It depends on your prescription strength. At the moment I only wear my glasses for driving and taking lecture notes (short sighted) so I would probably go without. But as it's a few years to our day my eyes will probably be worse and I will end up wearing them :) If you need them you could get a special wedding pair - my friend always calls glasses "jewellery for your face" so maybe make the most of them? xx
