i had a girlie night in with two of my friends (with drink of course). one is newly engaged and is getting married in november. the other friend is neither engaged or planning a wedding.

needless to say, we ended up talking about weddings!!

i just felt sorry for my friend who isnt engaged as she has been tryin to get her boyfrind to propse to her for awhile now.

but what could i do. we were so excited about wedding plans.

just thought id share this with you all xx any ideas on how to get a guy to propose without being pushy????

My MOH is in the same situation, she is my best friend and she's been with her boyfriend for over 5 years but is still waiting for him to propose. I feel funny going on about my wedding so I don't do that much and I know she is putting a brave face on. I wish he could make his mind up.

big no no! i don't believe there is a way, because you can't be subtle with men, they just don't get it, lol. i totally believe in the fact that when the man proposes off his own back with no hinting then you are going to be happy, because it means he is really ready for it, whereas if you push him into it he will end up resenting the decision or propose but then keep putting the wedding off, and it is worse to be engaged for what seems forever with no wedding at the end if that makes sense? your friend should just chill out and maybe then her boyfriend will make a move, that is my opinion anyway, lol. hope it all works out for her. xx

I had been with my H2b for six years before he proposed and the more people went on about it the more nervious he became. When he did finally proposed he told me he had, had the ring for a year but could never find the perfect moment as everyone was dropping hints all the time he really wanted to show that it was his decision.

I had this discussion with my BM the other day, she's with her fella and everythings lovely, everyone around her especially me and her boyf's bro seem to be engaged. I explained to her that I understand how stressful it must be, as when me & h2b were at the same stage in our relationship no-one else was getting married, we had no pressure and none of that it'l be you next kind of thing being said. I just hope she took me for what I meant, and that I wasn't ignoring the fact that it's hard.

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do
