We have started to receive a few gifts and money already. Do we send thank you cards just now or wait until after the wedding? xx

I would acknowledge they have arrived safely (esp money!) but if they are attending the wedding send the formal thank you after.

Dove the folk we have received it off of are all attending the wedding. I thought this was a bit strange as why do they not bring it with them to the wedding? Is that normal people give gifts and stuff before. Lol we have 3 wedding cards sitting on the shelf in our living room and we are not even married yet. xx

Probably thought it would be easier- the last thing you want is a huge pile of gifts to transport home.

I guess. They know we have received them ok so think it would be best to send them official thank you after to thank them for attending to. xx

In america apparently all the gifts arrive before the wedding so you dont have to worry about them at the wedding.
But like dove said just let them know youve received them and send out the formal thank yous after the wedding.

I wouldn't put the cards up though.. I've always been told thats bad luck :O

I would just let them know briefly that you have recieved the gift so they don't panic thinking it's gone missing :D
