Right. A little over three weeks till the wedding and I think I have just about covered everything. I hope. Probably not. Lol.

Except of course gifts for the bridal party. Can people tell me what they are doing or have done to give me ideas? Naturally at this point in the planning I have spent more than I own so need to do it on a budget.

A bracelet for bridesmaids? (Argo$ do nice stuff and it's not crazy money, same as H $amuel)
    Chocolates (Th0rnton$ etc)
    Flowers?

I plan on doing bracelets for my bridesmaid and flowers for parents but not sure what else. Maybe personalised dressing gowns on the morning of the wedding for bridal party too but i'm lacking on inspiration. I just like to go out on my own for a day and mooch around the shops and see what catches my eye :D

I'm giving my bridesmaids a bracelet each. For the mothers I've got some necklace and earring sets but OH hasn't decided what to give the groomsmen yet. Still trying to decide if we should give something to the dads though.

I have 2 grown up bridesmaids and a little one (she's 5). Was thinking for the girls a photoframe maybe with the date engraved on it so they could put a photo of themselves with their families on the day perhaps.

Not sure for the 5 year old - although she knows she's expecting a present apparently lol

    We did the following:

My mum and dad, bouquet of flowers that the lady doing all our flowers and venue decorations made up for us.

Hubby's dad, a bottle of whisky (his mum passed away years ago so didn't have to buy for a MIL)

My sister (MOH), vouchers for a department store to go towards a handbag she really wanted.

My best mate (bridesmaid), a pair of sterling silver and cubic zirconia drop earrings (they were half price in the sale, were over £90 full price then I got an additional 10% off as I had a store card)

Our niece (flower girl), a pl@y d0h set (bought in the sale)

The best man and 2 ushers got cufflinks, bought in the d3b3nh@m5 sale with an additional 10% off with an online discount code.

If we get the centre pieces we're currently looking at we are going to give both mothers, bridesmaids and my nanna the bunch of flowers that come in them. Bridesmaids we are going to buy a nice necklace and earring set... possibly for the day and no idea on the mums.

My only worry is, if we give them the flowers and jewellery to wear on the day, does that look bad because we haven't given them a present during speeches? Might get some little gift bags and put some posh chocolate and maybe a bottle of something to give out for speeches as I doubt they'll want 2 bunches of flowers.... It all adds up though doesn't it lol, it's a good job they're worth it ;)

Our groomsmen are a little more awkward, the BM is T-total and we've been rail roaded into having boyfriends brothers as ushers so don't want to spend too much on them, maybe some nice cufflinks on offer? but what extra can we get the best man?

Also do you buy for the fathers? My dad is dead but my brother is giving me away, should we buy him and FIL a gift too?

Some really good ideas. Thanks guys! I love the bracelet ideas for bridesmaids. I'm going to get my flower girl a build a beat teddy. But still stuck on ushers and best man. Hip flasks wouldn't be appropriate, one has loads and another can't drink. None of them wear suits that often so cuff links would be a bit useless.

Going to have to keep thinking.

Giving my bridesmaids a handbag bag with a drawing of them on the front in their bridesmaid dress, and with it a necklace with a loveheart on it.
    Ushers - not sure h2b hasn't decided
Mums - a pandora charm engraved with wedding date and "mother of the ....." on it
    Nans - flowers
    xx

    Happily Married! :) xxx

Oh I love the pandora charm idea for mums :) neither of our parents have a pandora bracelet though.... we could get them one for either Birthdays or Christmas before the wedding though :p (I would say get them a bracelet as well for the day but that would make very expensive gifts then)

I've made their jewellery for the day so they'll have those in the morning. During speeches, I've done them up a little gift bag each with - personalised mirrors off bay of e, mini perfume (got a gift set of 4 in the boots sale!), mini champagne, personalised chocolate and a shot glass. X

The bridesmaids and my mum will be getting jewellery sets in the morning, then at the dinner the bridesmaids will get a bracelet each with a silver rope tied in a bow on a card which says "to my beautiful bridesmaid, thank you for helping me to tie the knot today!", the flower girls are getting personalised teddies and my mum is having flowers that match my bouquet in a glass vase, my dad will have an engraved whiskey glass and bottle of whiskey and they will also get an engraved photo frame. I have no idea about the best man, ushers or h2b's parents as I told him he can decide on them as they are all so awkward! Lol xxx
