Hi all hope all wedding ans going well.. I have a little question. I know uts quite traditional to buy the wedding party gifts to say "thank you" for playing their part in your big day etc.. Myself and my fiance are planning to go travelling as an extended honeymoon after the wedding so trying to be quite tight with our budget where possible. Does anyone have any suggestjons what we can get best man, ushers, page biys, MOH, bridesmaid and parents as a gift but fairly cheap?? Thanks in advance xxx

I haven't even begun to think about gifts yet. But I do know my FG is going to get a necklace. BMAN is going to be sorted out by the OH. We're not having a page boy or ushers so really it's just the BMs. I am planning on getting FMIL a bouquet of flowers though to say thank you for everything she has done for me over the years and something for FFIL as well, he'll be happy with a bottle of whisky.

We are getting our best man cufflinks, bridesmaids jewellery to wear on the day, and teddy bears with thank you for being our flower girl for the little ones.
Doesn't have to cost the earth. something personal,and/or wedding related is just right.

Unless there's something specific you feel you should get them.

I think I will get my bridesmaids some form of jewellery - we are all dancers so I was thinking like a ballet shoe necklace or something which would be a nice personal touch as well. Looking at a little bracelet with my FG's name on it and also a big teddy bear wearing a tee saying 'thank you for being our flower girl' - she will be 2.

For the groomsmen we have been looking at engraved pocket watches. x

you could throw a paper box together pretty cheap for the ladies like mini conditioner treatment and face mask ect and a card or something like that and the ushers you could buy them a cheap novelty tankard and a beer or mini whiskey with a card. Personally Im giveing all that to my sister to do because she is the gift lady and is very good at it haha
