So I decided I wanted to give something special to my groom the day before our wedding. I know many buy gifts, and I thought as he isn't very materialistic, I thought I would do a journal. I have ordered a beautiful leather bound handmade journal, with a personal inscription and I plan to write down our trials tribulations, and moments from our "pranniversary" (a year before the wedding) and I plan on wrapping it and giving it to him the night before the wedding. I hope he likes it.

Awr thats so lovely :) I wish I could think of something like this..im struggling.
I was going to have his belated Gran and Grandads photo engraved onto cufflinks. He often tells me he thinks they would have loved me and would have loved to see him get married and he wishes theyd be a part of his big day, so I thought that would have been a nice way of them 'being there'...
until i found out his dads borrowing him his gold cufflinks :/ :(

I'm giving him a box of stuff. Cufflinks, aftershave, socks, I wanted to get him a pocket watch engraved with our date but he's got something in him that stops watches unless there digital.lol

I've bought h2b some royal marine crest cuff links (he's currently applying to be an officer in the Royal Marines!) and I've bought him new aftershave and a card. The best man will be tasked with giving this to him on the morning for me x

i gave mr lala ..... an antique silver pocket watch and cuff links made out of silver sixpences that were minted the year he was born ..before out ceremony in america , then the day of our UK ceremony i gave him a silver topped walking cane that was made the year after his watch

If anyone could help with suggestions that would be great please! H2b already bought me a boudoir photoshoot for Valentines day (well he says it was for me but I'm pretty sure it was for him!) so that's out the window, cuff links have been a bit of a tradition that I get for him a lot as he wears proper shirts for work and he had some for valentines and I tend to get him a watch for his birthday or Xmas most years.
I have no idea what to get him as what seems to be traditional is our kind of normal!!

Go for it Stacey just think he loves u for you. But I', same with the diet thing lol. Kimicharles what about a photo book or scrapbook of you both from when u got together til the wedding? And I can start another scrapbook after the wedding for ur anniversary or something. Or could buy him a racing thing or some activity thing. Or book a nice romantic meal. If not those then what's he like and what's his hobbies? X
