girls i know this has been covered many a time, but could anybody recommend a actual website where i can find poems or wording for monetary gifts.
i have googled but only finding poems which i deem a little bit sickly and not us at all.

More than just kisses so far we’ve shared, Our home has been made with love and care, Most things we need we’ve already got, And in out home we can’t fit a lot! A wishing well we thought would be great, (But only if you wish to participate), A gift of money is placed in the well, Then make a wish but shhh don’t tell! Once we’ve replaced the old with the new, We can look back and say it was thanks to you! And in return for your kindness, we’re sure, That one day soon you will get what you wished for. Please don’t be offended at this type of request, As our day is complete having you as our guest.

ebay hun! but dont buy them copy the words onto a word document and find a fab photo of you and your husband to be then print on lovely paper and buy a nice frame, thats we have done a lot cheaper too xx

i cant find the site i used again but i googled the words wedding poem gift money and sifted through til i found one that said exactly what i wanted. i am so happy with my poem as it honestly sounds like us if we wrote poetry lol

We lived together before this wedding So we have a home, full of toasters and bedding So what to get for the bride & groom Whose house is set up in every room? To save you looking, shopping and buying, Here's an idea you might like trying! We need new mattresses for us and the kids and a sofa to sit upon too, But registering for huge items isn't the thing to do So please put some money into a card, Now make a wish.... see, that wasn't hard! Now we've saved you all the fuss, We hope you'll come and celebrate with us! A wishing well will be at the reception hall To deposit your wishes... Thanks and love to you

Hails it sounds good, but being uber critical the line about the matresses and sofa is a bit too long, could you maybe make it,

I found one that I love but I think it may be just a little too long:-
please find within this poem, information just for you, with some rules and regulations, that we both insist you do.
Save the date of June 9Th, is the first thing to say, to share the love and happiness, on our wedding day.
The second one is vital, if you're to be our guest, to eat drink and be merry, or do your very best.
The third one is an order, so don't bring two left feet, as when the evening comes around, you must dance to the beat.
The fourth rule can be broken, we really do not mind, but if you choose to follow it, thank you for being kind.
We've been together for a few years, and have a lovely home, there are not too many items now, we don't already own.
So if you're thoughts were on a gift, your presence will suffice, but if you really feel the need, then money would be nice.
The choice is really up to you, and we would like to say, we hope you come, enjoy yourself, and have a lovely day. x

Their house needs repairs and some upgrades too But you can not register for carpet and glue.
A well that holds wishes is the way to go So lets make it easy for all that know.

i would say just day guests. If evening guests ask then give them the gift list.
my gift list site is giving me little cards to send out with the invites, but I'm not sure if I can amend the wording on them, or put one of these poems on them so i am not sure I am going to use them. I would rather just stick a little insert of my own in with the invitation wording it how I want it to be worded, with the URL of our gift list on there
