To start with we weren't having one so this wasn't a problem, but now everyone seems to be asking where our registry is and what would we really like from our list.
I spoke to Ross and we both agreed that we've got everything we need for the house but it would be nice to replace some items (like the ASDA smartprice dinner set, knives and scissors that actually cut, a huge plasma tv wouldn't go amiss either lol)
Now I'm in a bit of a quandry as to where to do the list.
IF I was being totally 'selfish' I'd do it at Peter Maturi and get all new stuff for the kitchen, even though it benefits everyone in the house there would only be me who got any pleasure in using any of it.
Then I thought about doing it at Next but then thought it could end up being loads of candles and bedding.

Where are you ladies having your registries and what sort of things have you asked for?

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

We went for John Lewis. We chose them as we felt they had the biggest selection for the best price.

As we didn't live together, we had all the basics for starting life together- cutlery, plates, pans, kettle, toaster, kitchen equipment, bedding, towels, glasses etc.

How about Debenhams - you can set it up online and manage it also online - on their website it says this as well....

After registering online we will email you with a unique password and, as a special thank you for registering we’ll give you a £50 giftcard* *A minimun of £250 must be spent on products or giftcards to be eligible for this free gift. Ask a member of staff for more details.

I like Debenhams because you can get items from under a £5 to expensive stuff so people can choose within their budgets.

We will be asking for money / gift vouchers as we already have everything. We have just merged 2 homes into one as K has recently moved in and have waayy too much stuff. I'd like a new kitchen and / or bathroom.

I'm liking the idea of Debenhams, thanks Jane!!
Don't think we've got a local John Lewis anymore.
Toyed with the idea of money/vouchers - went down like a blummin lead balloon when we put the feelers out

We have our gift list at John Lewis, and have added mostly kitchen items but also some other household things. I did most of it but let Chris pick some of it too - that way there's something for both of us.

As we have lived together for the past 2 years and i left home at 18 we have everything we need!
We are going to go with a company that advertises on here where ppl put money for you to buy something you really want (in our case a new matress and bedroom furtiture) but it could be anything like a 50inch tv if you wanted.
That way ppl know what there money is going towards and they know your not blowing it on stupid things like fags lol so a bit like a honeymoon one :-)

We have also got a small argos list with silly things on like t-spoons :-)
