hi girls is there anyone who gets married in the near future who is getting really nervous????
i am just 2 months away from the 'big day' and up to last week was doing ok, i wasnt stressing in the least (except over RS.V.P.s) and had my first dress fitting, which made me quite giddy.
last saturday h2b and i attended a wedding and as we walked into the venue, the bride was outside as she walked in with me i asked how the day had gone and her first words were "walking into the ceremony, was the most nerve wracking thing ive ever done" which surprised me as she is as confident as myself. i took that on board but later i was talking to my ex boss' wife (guests at our wedding as we met at work) and she then told me it was nerve wracking, throughout the evening other people kept saying to me "wont be long until yours" & "hows the planning?" etc etc. since then i am beginning to panic slightly in case there is something i have forgotten in the first instance, and secondly the thought of the ceremony walk is completely filling me with dread. i dont know if its the thought of blubbing like a baby or just everyones eyes on me thats doing it, but when i think about it i go cold.
is there anyone else out there who feels the same or whos already wed who had nerves!
xx

I didn't have any nreves as I was walking in ... but if you are nervous, maybe ask your h2b to turn to watch you walking in, and then you can contentrate on him as you walk towards him?

I think there's somethign wrong with me - 4 weeks and 6 days to go and no sign of nerves....yet! I'm sure I'll be a mess on the day though LOL! Hx
oh god, i am soooo nervous!! i am normally fairly confident, but i dont know half the people that are going to be there and i am THE most clumsiest person in the world so i know i will trip and fall or smack into a chair or something!! we are having about 70 guests and i hate being the centre of attention. its ok for h2b, hes gonna already be at the top so no1 will look at him. maybe i could make it a rule that everyone has to look forward!! ive got a feeling im just gonna start blubbing or laughing, i have a bad habit of laughing uncontrolably (sp?) when im nervous, oh dear. either that or i talk continuously!! the registrar is gonna have to tell me to shut the f**k up!! haha.
im sure it will go really quickly tho, this last 8 months has wizzed by so a 20 min ceremony should too hopefully and then the rest will be fine. if something does happen im sure itll just make for a few laughs and there will be a story to tell the grandkids when they are preparing for their weddings!! good luck!! xx

phew.....thank god its not just me. cluminess is one of my habits too hence i havent got a train on my dress. i keep imagining all sorts like sweaty hands and mark not being able to get my ring on, or me swearing by mistake or even worse my dads scanky partner rocking up like madge from benidorm in her 'not needed' wheelchair and sounding like lily savage when she speaks/laughs.
milly you are so right. it probably will fly by and i know after the ceremony ill be fine - she says!!!!!!!: Smiley_agree_ani:

I'm really clumsy too, so didn't have a train either (actually had an dargument with the dress shop lady over this!) ... I wasn't nervous at all, we had tried our rings on a week before and realised that they had somehow magically shrunk becuase neither fitted, but we hadn't put on any weight! Also, I forgot that Dan has a very funny middle name, and the registrar KEPT saying it, so I was in fits of laughter! One of the guests told me that they saw my shoulders shaking and said to their wife "Aww she's crying" and the wife's reply was "That's not crying that's laughing!"
Don't worry about it - it goes so fast on the day that you won't have time to be nervous!

Its 3 weeks for me and I'm doing good so far - the only thing that has had me a bit stressed is my cake company - had a thread about it - but I've sorted it by handing it to H2B. Solved the problem - he deals with her and I tell him stuff that I expect her to know/do.
Everything else has been sorted - I don't have anything to worry about its all sorted - haven't sorted thank you gifts but 3 weeks to sort those so not too bad.
I actually expected me to be so worked up and panicky about everything going well but I've hit the point of everything's sorted as far as it can, dance lessons have made our dance sorted, can't do anything until nearer the time and that will be a week before so all's good. I expect to be wide awake the day before and unable to sleep. So gonna have to make sure I'm knackered so I'll konk out. :)
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

Im no where near my wedding yet and i am freaking out about fainting!!!
I over heat very easily when doing things (i dry may hair in my underwear as if i even have a vest on i sweat!) So i am not looking forward to being all laced up in a nice tight bodice corsetty dress big boofy skirt and standing infront of a church full of people! xxx

Im getting nervous. 28 days to go and im having nightmares and hardly sleeping. keep thinking H2B wont turn up r somethings going to go wrong. Plus having panic attacks and thinking am i doing the right thing (which i know i am!)
Some one told me that this is natural to feel nervous and think like this - in fact it was the vicar!!!
