I've decided to make my own invitations and ordered all the things I need over a month ago. When I ordered it all the woman said it normally takes about 10 days for everything to arrive in the shop. It's been over 4 weeks now! I've been in twice to see if she'd had the stationary and last time I went on saturday she said she had everything except the backing cards which she had been expecting on friday. She then said they should arrive this week so I told her I was off on wednesday and to please give me a call to let me know. She didn't! So I'm off again today and just called the shop to ask about them again saying i've been waiting for them for a month now and the woman said "in fairness the person you need to talk to isn't in until this afternoon as she would know exactly where to look, so call back about 1". GRRRR! If you're going to employ other people then you should tell them everything about orders etc and where items are kept! It's absolutey ridiculous! Especially as when I first met the woman at a wedding fayre in october she said I didn't have much time and needed to get them sorted, and now she's the one delaying everything! I Just want to get them made and sent out, was hoping to have them done for xmas but at this rate I'm not going to! And I'm going up to Aberdeen soon to see some family and wanted to take theirs with me, saving me some postage!
If I call back at 1 and they happen to be there I'm not going to have time to get there and collect them before meeting my mum this afternoon and I'm working until wednesday morning now! Sooo Cross! I definitely wouldn't recommend the shop to anyone their customer service is rubbish!

Can you not demand a refund and go elsewhere? If not you should say that you want a part refund for the trouble they have causedn i hate moaning but sometimes its the right way to go about it.specially wen companies mess u around. The date they gave you was the date it should have been done by! End of!

My mum went to the craft shop today and had words. she said that we'd been waiting a month when they said it would be ten days. The womans response was "so what do you want to do?" !!!! no form of apologising whatsoever! Can't believe it! She didn't even have an answer as to why she hadn't contacted either of us even though we both asked her to.
But my mum has now got most of the stuff and is going back tomorrow to get the backing card which they have said will be cut tonight. We've already looked at another craft shop to get the rest of the stationery, and this one has all it's stock on site so you get what you want when you want it, none of this waiting around for things to be delivered!
I think I'll be telling the hotel about this as she was at their wedding fayre and the service was absolute poop!

i would make an official complaint in writing as this just isnt on.

i would def tell the hotel as this isnt fair on you or other brides!
