tillyturtle.. my h2b used to go to the gym with a guy whos getting married in a castle in Austria, all the guests are being taken by either slegde or snow buggy things to the venue lol I think it sounds fab. I love the snow! But I don't think I could get married in it myself but I love the idea it's very romantic and if it reflects you and h2b then that's spot on, its what your wedding should be about xx

We want to get married in the snow too! Looking at Icehotels in Scandinavia or Austrian/Italian Alps, chose my dress specifically because I can snowboard in it :) A few people have sniffed at our ideas but we are sticking by our plans, no one has to come if they don't want to, although I am struggling to find any kind of thermal base layer to go with the dress!

Wow, my H2B would love to do something like that as he is very outdoorsy and adventurous, we are even waiting until 2013 for the wedding as he is going off to travel the world this year!! We are having a traditional wedding due to family but i hope you have an amazing day xx

hey macrose we looked at gettin married in lapland firstly then we realise just how cold it was going to be and also the price was extortionate...the icehotel in sweden is a good choice just dont book it through a travel operator book it direct with winterwedding there really helpful....we looked into them but again we started pricing everything up like the flights the fact that we could only stay there for 5 days and it would cost £1000. so we settled on austria as its charm and qaint with enough of an atmoshpere for families and couples and still has the magnificant back drop of the slopes. personally i dont think you will need a thermal base if you to to austria or italy...as your gonna be pumped full of adrenaline..maybe some leggings under the dress??? my goodnes so many people have been so rude about our plans....claiming they cant come cus they cant afford it when really there just pissed off that ive not asked their daughter to be a bm....joke really..but its always gonna be our day and were gonna do what we want so itf theres 4 people there or 15 people there..i dont care....p.s. love the idea of being able to snowbaord in your dress were did you get that from?

youd b surpised how many say they want it hot then realise the whole day was to hot...especially finding a dress that you wont sweat buckets in all though i no someone who instead of having men in suits had them in linen trousers and smart cool shirts so they looked smart but didnt die from the heat
