Hi everyone, i have just joined this site and so far looks great! I am beginning to sort out my wedding, which preferably i would like to be in Varadero,Cuba as we went there on our first holiday together and fell in love with the place. Does anyone know a good all-inclusive resort for getting married. I am awaiting information back from many resorts, but would like some personal opinions. Thanks x

Hi x_moretoknow_x, This site is great I'm so addicted to it! I love cuba. Although I haven't been to Varadero I went to one of the Cayo Islands (Cayo Coco). I saw a few weddings there and they looked amazing. The beaches are fantastic on the Cayos take a look you'll love it xxx

Thanks i will do, its alot harder to find people with experience of getting married abroad. obviously when you speak to the hotels, they make out that the weddings there are amazing and they can cater for anything...and then you hear the horror stories. its not like in this country you can go to a shop and choose everything eg flowers....you just have to tell them what you want and hope they do it! its a bit scary but iv always wanted to get married abroad. are you planning a wedding atm?

Yes, we are getting married abroad too! We are getting married in Italy next June so I know what you mean about the difficulties about the planning a wedding abroad! We have hired a wedding planner over there and everything that can be planned has been planned. Its taken the stress out of it, which is great but Ive got nothing to do apart from choose my dress now!!! xxx

we're getting married in cyprus and looking to get a planner cause a lot seems to come in packages. i agree with you both there isnt as much info on wedding abroad available and all travel agents say their locations are amazing lol we're going to cyprus in june to look at the venues 1st hand. We're having our honeymoon in cuba! h2b wants to see the old cars i like the beaches lol x
yeh cuba is great for that, your h2b will see plenty of old cars if you go to Havana and the beaches really are beautiful!! there are also great trips to go on. you should definatly do The Monster Truck trip and go to the Park where you swim with dolphins (theres also shows, feeding tigers, tropical snorkeling etc) - we did this last time and it really is an unforgetable experience! lol just need to find somewhere to get married now!!

hi i was going to get married there in october at the sandals resort but changed it about 3 months ago , ive been married before and to get my decree absolute translated into spanish with the spanish translation bureau in london was going to cost £700 when i told virgin they said they didnt know the price was that high and said will put this in their wedding broucher for 2011 so i asked for an exchange they did it free of charge now im getting married in sri lanka been about 2 yrs ago loved it and have elephants attending lol which is great as i collect them have over 40 in my lounge lol, anyway apart from all of that the sandals resort did look fab x

heyy im getting married in dreams la romana its soo amazing.. i would recomend booking through a travel agent as they organise everything and help you with the 100 questions you have for them you get a wedding planner aswell that way you know everything will be perfect and all your geusts are looked after too travel agent helps you with all the legal documents that have too be sorted out..xx

Hi there. Have you looked at the Iberostar Varadero. We stayed there a few years ago and thought it was great. If you have a look on trip advisor you will see that it is rated number 1 of all hotels in Varadero. The food, Staff, pools and cocktails were great! We were quite pleased we choose this hotel as when we arrived and the bus was dropping people off at the various hotels we were a bit worried as to what our one was going to look like but it was by far the best.
