Are you planning on marrying in a CoE church?
Here's the guidelines from their website:
There may be a way forward for you to be married again in church. The Church of England agreed in 2002 that divorced people could remarry in church under certain circumstances. However, because the Church views marriage to be lifelong, there is no automatic right to do so and it is left to the discretion of the Priest. Further information about remarriage in church after divorce is available

Will pop a link on your wall

I've known people who have been divorced and married again in a church. I think it is down to the vicar though as to whether they will allow it.

Both Methodist and Anglican churches allow divorcees to remarry. While individual clergy can say no if it goes against their personal beliefs, they are supposed to refer you in that case to another vicar or minister who is happy to do it. My father is a methodist minister and he is happy to marry divorcees. He would only say no if he thought that the couple were making a mistake.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Yeah you can but its up to the vicar! We found one but then she moved away and the new one refused as hes a firm believer in the old ways (he's about 60). We then went toanother one and agian he said no so I gave up lol.

HOWEVER I have found a church that is actually registered as a civil venue so if all goes well I'll be marrying there :-)
I just dont like the time slot (11am) so seeing if we can change it

Its all down to the individual I'm afraid
