ive not been on for a bit, but ive came on to read everyone updates to make me smile.

so i get married in a few weeks, 3 almost and i now wish it was over.
dad is driving me nuts with the guest list to the point i just wanna go to the registry office and do it in private. he has several lists, we have given him h2b final guest list 3 times but he still has made another list of people coming. now i spent over a hour tonight going through the replies and to be fair there is only a few still to be returned, but this is due to the people being on holiday ad were assuming they are coming. great all done. no. we removed h2b old best man and a usher as they decided 6 weeks before we get married they didnt want to do it. so they were removed, que 4 spaces out so we filled them. but because they werent on the original list dad went nuts and chucked the file across the room. i picked it up and went through the list he has made another list and i dont see it tying in with any one and he is getting everyone mixed up. so i sat with a pad and a pen and wrote down each reply (obv ones coming not the ones not coming) and wrote out the 6 people still to reply which almost makes up the numbers.

next was the children. originally we didnt want many kids and my priority was my god children who are part of the bridal party and my younger cousins. h2b doesnt have many kids in his side and the ones we invited were invited at night. q moan from the parents as they have had a family fall out and dont have anyone to watch. q well if yours are going im bringing mine. arrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh

over the past few months ive had to content with a freak stalker trying to ruin my wedding, major health issues, 3 jobs, dress dilemmas, missing favours, bmaid issues, family fighting on both sides, a caterpillar in my wedding meal tasting, a fil2b slagging off his son to a work colleague of mine and numbers and possibly the venue trying to pull a fast one, not to mention folk still not replying and theyve know for a year................................arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh


cant do this just want it all to be over now, be married and get on with my life....ive had enough.

Oh, it does sound like you're having a hard time, but I'm sure it will all be worth it for that moment that you walk down the aisle and see you h2b standing at the bottom. Throw a major Bridezilla move on your father and let the rest wash over you where you can.

Sounds very stressful. Maybe have a night just u n h2b and no wedding talk to help you relax. And try and concentrate on why ur getting married as should help you get through it x

I can see why your stressed out just think 3 weeks and it will be all over I'm the same I can't wait till I don,t have to chase the venue for meetings, the vicar for rehearsals, spend the day smiling at complete strangers lol.
Just tell your dad the invites have been done you can't change anymore and its your wedding,

Have a day off and just go and relax I'm doing this on sunday

thanks all. im trying to get h2b birthday off on the 29th. also im going to a spa next friday for the weekend with 3 of the bridesmaids plus mum aunt and a friend. tbh i cant wait. im gonna miss h2b like mad i hate being away from him but i need to calm down a bit and relax. i went to my parents this evening as mum was getting her hair done. she told me dad was upset cos i was upset but she says hes trying to help me have the perfect day but she thinks he putting too much effort and getting everything confused that weve got him designing my table plan instead and leaving the guest list for the moment, the replies are due in for the 25th so we will sit down and do it then. i also told him to go and pick a memory candle for us so again hes helping and shouldnt get stressed about that.

yeah we were trying the starters and i seen something moving looked down and there it was. it that respect we got the menu tasting for nothing plus free drink for the rest of the evening and more off the final bill for the wedding, they have given us the champagne fountain for free that i originally cancelled.....score lol xxx

thanks lula. i will ive waited for so long for this to happen and im determined nothing is gonna ruin it even if stalker boot from outer space comes and makes a show of herself it will be some amusement to my day.

me and h2b are leaving in a min. going to the venue for afternoon tea. some us time. take care ladies xxx
