Since upping our day guests from 32 to 50, we were easily able to fill all the spaces, I'm yet to send the invites off so things can still be adjusted! but anyway im a little annoyed because 2 of my male friends that I've known for ages...were originally invited to just the evening as I couldnt fit them on the day, but since being able to increase day guests, I mentioned it to them and they are just ignoring me, not even replying. Ever since having a baby they did drift away but I still see them regularly and together with my best friends we all normally group together... They ignored my invite for my 21st birthday completely last month and didnt come. When I've spoken to them they've said how yeah they are up for coming... but now I'm trying to see if they want to come to the day aswell and im getting nothing from them...dont know what to do, as I dont want to look desperate for their replies, but deep down I really want them to come! xxxx

EDIT Sorry hunni Ive had to slightly edit your title as the boss man has a thing with starred out words in titles due to the fact that he shows the forum off to protential investers all the time and seeing this sort of title doesn't give a very good first impression.

Aw, I feel for you, both my male friends have pretty much shunned me since finding out I'm getting married. I don't see them a lot anyway though. One of them might come but the other has ignored me since I mentioned it and won't reply to my messages. Some men are weird.

I figure if they're not replying they're avoiding saying no, but they're not saying yes either, so I'd just leave it for them to come to the evening, at least they'll be likely to actually go to that. OR just send an invite for the day and see what happens? Tough call when they won't reply.

Its the fact of being ignored that annoys me! I dont mind if they say they dont want to come to the day, its just I would like them to tell me that, because it saves me sending them an expensive invite when they already know deep down if they want to come or not, but yeh like you said, it seems asthough they are probably ignoring me because they dont know how to say no...which is a bit upsetting that they wouldnt want to come, I've never done anything to annoy/upset them, so makes me feel a bit rubbish like they dont like me anymore!

I'll give them this weekend to get back to me, but yeh perhaps just let them come to the evening (if they even show to that) I can garantee that they wont tell me if they arent coming!

Your probably right, its a bit upsetting because I want them to come...and there really should be no reason why they wouldnt want to come.. its odd, specially when the 2 male friends im talking about are best friends with eachother so its not as if its because they wont know anyone! we're all a big circle of friends... thats why its fustrating! xx
