well, he was here all of 5 mins! Says the compressor on the back of my fridge isnt connecting properly. Ive now got to wait for them to order a new compressor then call me when they can fit it. Another holiday day i will have to use :(. Its a good job i saved some holidays for emergencies like this!
Oh Kel, you buying a new bag has reminded me that i have a £20 next voucher to spend. Time to do some retail therapy! :D

Evening, roast chicken salad for dinner tonight, smells lush. Hubby should be back soon. Tomorrow is last day of school, my son has his final day at primary school so it's his leavers assembly.

I'm all excited here today, going to the commonwealth games opening ceremony tonight.
It's really hot here too makes such a difference and it's been the hottest driest summer we've had in a long time :-)

My eldest stepson is at his army selection today so tomorrow he will know wether or not he has been accepted, fingers & toes crossed!! Youngest stepson finished school yesterday & he has had me helping him play lego movie on his xbox, roll on tomorrow when my son breaks up for the holidays so he can be his xbox buddy lol. H2B will be working away for most of the school holidays so I've been trying to find cheap things to do, I dont drive so looked up train fares to the nearest beach, £40+ for 4 of us omg!!

Morning everyone. Well that's the beginning of my working week commenced :-/ watched the opening ceremony for the CWG and have to say it looked awesome. My OHs wee cousin was lined up to compete in the Scottish Judo team but because she broke her wrist earlier in the year she is volunteering instead to help out and she will be in the closing ceremony. Won't lie I couldn't help but laugh when Chris Hoy has to help open up the Baton :-/ awkward for the Prince

Evening all.
Finished work, was meant to pop to Matalan to get a bikini for my daughter which we had done a click and collect for, however there had been an accident right in the middle of getting there and roads were shut so I never bothered. Came home and took the other two out to the beach for a couple of hours. Just got back in and still very very warm out there.

So proud!! My stepson passed his army selection & was offered all 3 of his job choices, his 1st choice is aircraft technician. It has been so hot today, going to put the pool up tomorrow & join the kids in it.
