I have looked everywhere ebay, B H S, Deb en Hams, Pricelower shoes (lol) zone of shoes and numerous online shoe shops, catalogues etc! I just want tiny kitten heel but My dress is black and red so cant have 'bridal shoes' and all the ones that are low heel I dont like!

I have seen about 3 pairs I like but not certain of :/ This is where I wish my Maid of honour would help out but she isnt :(

They are from Debz, gold prom style with flower embroidery - they are beautiful as they almost match my wedding dress which is ivory with gold and pink detailing. Pink n gold are my theme colours :D

It fantastic that you are making progress :)

Do you have any idea of perfect shoes that are out of your budget..? (Just thinking that if you know that, perhaps you can scale down from there... perhaps?)

kinkyemo can you not buy some white ones and stain them the colour you want? You can dip dye, other than that i don't what else to suggest :(

BarbieBride They sound goregous, i love gold and pink together its almost vintage-y :) we have gone for a pastel blue white and silver, but it seems to be hard to find flowers that are blue.

More good news hehehe, my Grandma just rang and said that she can't contribute money (we would never take it off her if she offered lol) but she wants to do our wedding invitations as our wedding present!

I have no idea of what shoes all I know is I want pretty and maybe some sparkles! one pair I do like has a little bow on the ankle strap! My big problem is being a size 8 :/ SOOOO hard to get the shoes I like in my size!

There is a pic in the things i like album of the bow shoes that ATM Im thinking of getting just wish they had some sparkle on the front but hey they are nice :)

Get your hands on some cheap gems and do it yourself, it can be quite nice to customize stuff yourself, makes them more special.
BTW the dress in your pics is stunning!
What is quite annoying is that bridal shoes are quite expensive, have you tried VLD?
Have you thought about maybe having wedges? they are easier to walk in as the pitch of your foot is only slightly elevated.
Check me out being all technical lol

That's great news, will save you loads. When my venue had the yearly rate increase it was only a £6 difference but when you think about that per head, it is a big difference, they did let me pay last years rates though as I had paid the deposits etc then xx

Will be nice to have a break from uni though, hopefully the weather improves for you to enjoy it properly!
2 year's is a perfect time. I've been planning 18 months, had a lot of hiccups and changed colour schemes etc so many times but now I have just under 4 months to go and I have pretty much everything done.
It's just suits and little things that need sorting out now, like writing place cards and all the annoying bits lol!

It is exciting but I don't feel ready, I have everything you need to have a wedding but I don't feel like I'm prepared, I could do with at least another 6 months lol.
We have picked suit's, my OH know's exactly what he wants and when he tried it on I loved it but we just have to decided where we are getting them from and if we are getting them for the Ushers too. My OH is bein an Usher next month for his cousin and he's havving to buy his own suits, well his cousin is being an Usher for us too so we think it might be OK to ask our Ushers to do the same thing!

Thats fair enough to ask them to buy them, have you looked into renting? theres a suit hire company that is doing an offer at the mo where if you rent 4 suits the grooms suit is free.
I don't think anyone feels ready when it gets close to the date.

Yeah we will hire them but it still works out just as cheap to buy them and our Ushers are business men, if they don't have a black suit I'd be shocked lol.
I have a lot of work to do to get ready for it, I'm going to start my "beauty regime" today.

It's my OH's birthday tomorrow, so I'm off out to get ingredients to bake a cake! x

Due to the whole wedding budget only being £1400 my budget was only about £20 for my shoes and im a fussy cow lol! (I dont normally do shoes)

just got back from the doctor... implant is taken out... back on the pill instead.... lets see if my problems will stop :)

got an email from my venue --- date changed and put on hold for 23.10.2013 sooo happy as they send me the new price for excl. use which is going to be 2,5K less yayyyy so happy about it and it gives me still more time to save up :)

thats so true it means waiting longer for the big day for 6month but its better like it as I have to go to sri lanka next year for a wedding which isnt going to be cheap :S so I decided to put it back a bit on a weekday and save at the same time at least some money on the venue as they still have the prices for 2011 there wont be any changes for us at all :)

Now how are we all tonight...

I'm very pleased that i've just finished fixing all my stationary artwork that I'm getting printed, especially as its for free :D meaning i get complete creative control!! I have the original mock up in an album, the colour is slightly wrong and the sizing was slightly out but other than that i think they look alright
