Housemates have both finished uni for good now, yet still are incapable of tidying!!!! One of them is leaving this weekend... after he is gone I am PURGING the entire house. The other housemate has the good sense to stay out of my way when I am cleaning and NOT to follow me around making more mess. He's so bloody messy! And our landlord is coming tonight for our last ever house inspection and they have managed to turn the entire house upside down!

omg its lashing down with rain and i got to get lucas to nursery soon then get into town for a quick trip into argos and back to pick him up and take him to my mum's ..then leave him there to go to the gym and mike pick him up ..phew lol

Hi all!!!!!!!!!!! Not had caffeine in over 14 hours and cranky as hell! I swam for England this morning trying to take my mind off it. Then Reece's speech appointment got cancelled only after I got there and spent all morning hanging round town for it rather than going home! Only got my ricotta and spinach pasta to take my mind off my crap morning...yummmmm. Afternoon is looking better though my new phone is coming. Yippee! xxx

Aw hun see it as an opportunity to have a few girlie nights. Steve used to have to go London for union meetings. Although I missed him to bits it was a good way of catching up on a really good pamper and chick flick night...sat there with elemis face mask on, foot spa....watching a rom com...bliss. xx

I'm in a bit of a grump today. I've been told by friends that legally I'm not under any obligation to pay the additional £75 that the company who are making me my new shoes are saying I have to pay, but if I don't then I'm worried they're going to cause me aggro.

They gave me the wrong voucher code which was worth £76 more than the one I should have had. I decided just to pay up, particularly as I'm apparently not the only person who has underpaid and it was a system issue. They gave me £100 off the first pair of shoes so all in all I'm still getting my wedding shoes and some very swanky summer sandals for less than the normal price of one pair of their shoes.
If she hadn't been so helpful in getting me some non-standard heels for my wedding shoes then I might have argue more.

I've never found the need for a car down here. Trains go all over. Steve has his company car, the company pay fuel, tax, services and repairs etc so it would be crazy for me to get a car and have all those uneccessary bills. xx

Have you tried using a clarifying shampoo or an oil treatment? Rub olive/almond/coconut oil into your hair and leave it for 15 minutes then wash out with a clarifying shampoo and follow with conditioner (or even a deep conditioning treatment).

Ermmmmm........I am now lol! Had the joiner in earlier to fill the whole in the wall that we had from when the gas fire got taken out last week so its looking a little better. Just need to save like mad now to be able to afford a new fireplace or possibly use some vouchers we still have from Homebase from our wedding to put towards a new fire. xx

oooooh Dee! that sounds painful and I aint even going to ask how you managed that one!!!!! In addition to trying to burn the house down by leaving the gas on I keep dropping things and cant control the kettle very well etc and last week I managed to burn my bikini line with hot water!!!!! and yes it hurt!!! ha ha ha

Dee I would be happy with the weekend of no housework as sunkissed beaches are not my idea of fun, a stroll along the beach in the spring is more my cup of tea. Going to have a look on google to see what the prices are for a electric fire suite at the moment. Paul likes the modern ones that look like small flatscreen tvs but I would rather have a more traditional one. xx
