luckily my dress is paid for. well on my credit card so we dont really need to worry about it. I was using the budget planner on here yesterday and was working out exactly how much everything cost and when we were doing a rough one we have over priced somethings which is good.

i know!! its utter madness. personally i dont see how it can. we arent actually doing things low budget and could save a lot more if we tried but spending that much on one day is just mind blowing!! someone that i know got married 2 years ago and it cost her parents 25k then someone elses wedding cost 5k and honestly you wouldnt know which was which!!
thats true our gud mates parenst spent 30k on theirs lol i dont think i b spendin that much

Everything!! We just can't seem to agree on anything. He wants to invite everyone he's ever met! I can't have things that are important to me, as the whole budget is going on feeding everyone he's inviting (twice as many people as me - as we needed to cut guests to save money, and I cut 20 and he cut 2!) And just everyone being selfish about what they want, and forgetting it's our wedding I think. And feeling very disorganised, money's really tight. And I'm stressed about the house hunting stuff as well, as we have someone coming for a 3rd viewing tomorrow as well, so I think we may need to start packing etc soon on top of the wedding planning!! ARGHHHHHH! lol. And h2b got a new job supposedly so we could spend more time together, and I've barely seen him since he started!

My mum and my nan have both made comments but he's not budging, and he's saying it's cos he's got a big family.... its a really hard one why don't you make a list of all the equiverlant people to bring your list up to his. you exstended family friends that you would love to have but cut because of prices and show him along side his list.
you could make a per head costing for each extra person and say something a long the lines of this is not your day its our day some of these people don't need to be on the list but if you wish to find the money for them then you need to find the money for my friends and family as well.
maybe if he sees what you have given up already in a physical sense he might grow up.
have you sent out the invites yet?
maybe you can take charge of the posting and not post the ones that don't need to be there
