what's your opinion on having someone do your bridesmaids hair? I can't afford to pay anyone so they are doing their own, which is a shame as I can do it but I don't want the stress of it on my big day and prob won't have the time either lol! x

My bridemaids are doing their own.... My hair and make up is expensive enough without paying for theirs to!! Although I did give them the option, they both want to do their own luckily!

Why can't they pay for their own? I've told my bridesmaids that they might have to pay for hair and makeup. I'm paying for their dresses, which are two (well three, if you count the petticoats) pieces which they will definitely be able to wear again, so I don't think it's unreasonable for them to pay for hair and makeup (within reason).

I kind of miss being able to cook. I'm fed up of being ill!
I make fairly epic Indian food. I do a full-scale Indian banquet for my friends when I can. Home-made pakoras and samosas (completely from scratch), lamb, chicken, sometimes fish or prawns and various vegetable curries, plus dhal, pilau rice, raita, chatnis and home-made chapattis. I don't do it often, but it goes down well when I do. I really need to do it again sometime soon.
I love cooking. I also do a wicked Thai banquet.
